May: Never ever any organization in the World has celebrated 78th
Edition of festival earlier, it is only AAFT which is going to
celebrate 78th Edition of Festival of Short Digital Films” said
Sandeep Marwah excitedly while announcing the festival.
International Film And
Television Club was framed twenty years back to give value addition to
media education at AAFT-Asian Academy of Film And Television. IFTC
has been conducted series of film, television and media programs to
encourage people of the trade and new aspirants from all these years.
The festival will take place at
Marwah Studios on Friday the 17th May. All the films produced and
directed during 78th batch of AAFT will participate in the festival.

Abhimanyu
Dange pass out of Asian Academy of Film And Television from 40th&
42nd Batch completed his education and training in Film Direction and
Cinematography brought the name of the institution to national level
when his name was announced for the best cinematographer for short
film for President’s Award 2012 at National Film Awards Function.
“I started my learning from
AAFT at Noida, after completing my course in Cinematography I also
completed my Production/Direction course. I am indebted to my teachers
at AAFT who have injected film making in my blood” said Abhi manyu
Dange at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
“I am proud of my student who
has picked up the film making so well and made us proud today” said
Sandeep Marwah Director of AAFT Noida. “ We will honor Abhimanyu at
the Academy soon” Marwah added.

The World Bank
has selected Asian Academy of Film And Television Noida as the Centre
of Excellence for the delegates from different Universities,
colleges, media institutes and departments to have firsthand knowledge
of Indian Media and Entertainment Industry.
“We are privileged that a high profiled delegation consisting of Vice
Chancellors and Director of Media School is here to learn about Indian
ways of film making and that charge has been given to us by World Bank
Project to conduct four days workshop at Marwah Studios” said Sandeep
Marwah inaugurating the workshop by lighting the lamp.
“What a spiritual start of the session on film, television and media. It
has given us new energy to learn more about the entertainment
industry of India” said Lawal James George Director of National Film
Institute of Nigeria.
The delegation also includes Prof. Rahamon A Bello, Vice Chancellor
University of Lagos, Prof Benjamin T Ugwu, Deputy Vice Chancellor of
University of Jos, Prof. Ralph A Akinfeleye Chairman & Head, Dr.
Ifeoma T. Amobi, Department of Mass Communication, University of Lagos

investigation it has been decided by the World Bank to organize Project
B2 workshop at Asian Academy of Film And Television. AAFT is the centre
of Excellence” said Prof. Rahman Bello the Vice Chancellor of University
of Lagos and leader of the Delegation from Nigeria on the opening
session of 4 days workshop at Marwah Studios Film City Noida.
“It is our proud privilege to
conduct workshop on film, TV and communication at AAFT especially when
members of the delegation are Vice Chancellors and Directors of the
Colleges. We will keep the trust of World Bank on the top” said Sandeep
Marwah renowned international media personality chairing the high
profiled seminar.
The University of Jos would
love to get associated with AAFT which has an international reputation
and World Bank has rightly selected this place for our training program”
said Prof. Benjamin Ugwu the Dy Vice Chancellor of Jos University.
The four days long work has
been planned to give over all information about Indian Media and
Entertainment industry to the delegates and Indian way of making films.

Marwah Films And Video Production has churned out
number of joint ventures including feature film Coffee House directed
by Gurbir Grewal, Nazuk Sa Modd directed by Adeep Tondon, I AM
directed by Onir, Riyasat and Derd e Disco Directed by Ashok Tyagi and
now under production a Documentary directed by Capucine Henry.
Sandeep Marwah has recently
finalized another documentary with Karl Bardosh who is the Master
Professor in Tisch School of Arts New York University, USA. The
research work is on very soon. Karl will be visiting India to finalize
his team from young film makers. The documentary will be covering
Indian subject and shall be shot in North of India.

International Film And Television Club of Marwah
Studios is now one of the most popular film festival organizing body
in the country as per the statement given by the President Sandeep
Marwah who is also the founder of Noida film city.
It was AAFT Festival of Short
Digital Films which started 20 years back and touching now its 79th
Edition followed by WECARE Film Festival on Disability-10th Edition,
ASMS Festival of Shot Films-10th Edition, Global Film Festival Noida
6th Edition, Global Festival of Journalism, ASC Festival of Films,
International Festival of Cellphone Cinema 6th Edition and
International Sufi Film Festival Ajmer are some of the regular
features of the IFTC.

The dates have been blocked for the 6th Global Film
Festival Noida 2013 from 11th November to 13th November and now the
management will jump for grand preparations” announced Sandeep Marwah
the president of the festival to take up the matter to the next show.
We have reached to the
International standards where we have been declared as the most
happening film festival of the World as declared by Supran Sen member
of the Governing Council of International Film Festival Association.
The members of Asian Education
Group, Marwah Studios, and international organizations were there to
attend the first meeting of 6th Global Film Festival Noida at Noida
Film City where first poster of the festival was released in the
presence of large association’s head.

is to facilitate and increase the contribution of women to public life
and to promote equality of opportunity for women in all aspects of

fulfilled through co-operation and co-ordination, to strengthen links
between women’s groups, while also attempting to expand membership
which is truly representative of women’s organisations and by
providing a forum for the expression and exchange of views, to
formulate policy statements and act as a conduit to Government, both
national and local” Marwah added.
Alka Lamba former Secretary All India Congress Committee, Anjali Ada renowned Poetess and Dr. Shobha will initiate the forum.

“It was a natural choice for UNESCO’s General
Conference, held in Paris in 1995, to pay a world-wide tribute to
books and authors on this date, encouraging everyone, and in
particular young people, to discover the pleasure of reading and gain a
renewed respect for the irreplaceable contributions of those who have
furthered the social and cultural progress of humanity” informed
Sandeep Marwah Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization
affiliated to United Nations and International Bar association at
Asian Education Group, Noida.
“ In this respect, UNESCO
created both the World Book and Copyright Day and the UNESCO Prize for
Children’s and Young People’s Literature in the Service of Tolerance”
Marwah added and promised to support education with World Class
Library which already contains more than 4000 books by now. All the
departments have been instructed to make a fresh list of books
required in each section.
“All forms of books make a
valuable contribution to education and the dissemination of culture
and information. The diversity of books and editorial content is a
source of enrichment that we must support through appropriate public
and protect from uniformity” said Irina Bokova of UNESCO.
