Cricket is religion in India. Cricketers are worshipped as Demi-Gods. Now a days its considered as a very lucrative career also. In order to pursue such a lucrative career one needs Luck, hard work & proper guidance, especially at the grass-root levels. Like the whole country Bhilai is also feeling the heat of cricket fever. Here also boys want to learn the basics & skills of cricket. In this respect Naidu Cricket Academy is one of some of the cricket training academies operating in Bhilai.

Naidu Cricket Academy was started on 27-08-2010 with the sole objective of providing the best training to the boys. More than sixty students have taken the training. Five players were selected for district team.

Mr Gajanan Naidu (N C A level1 coach) & U-19 selector for Chhattisgarh state gave the above information & figures related to the academy & he further said that their plan is to select forty students every year. Academy will take responsibility of their stay, food & education also.The students will be admitted to schools affiliated to C.G. Board.They will practice at Dusshehra ground, Shanti nagar. Every due care will be taken & even cricket tours will be organised from time to time. So that the boys will get regular match practice apart from thorough net practice. Training will be given by very competitive sports-persons.

Gajanan Naidu will look after bowling & fielding.

Batting will be looked after by Mr Neelesh.
