Happy Birthday to WHO??
Surprised by the topic of this Post? Let Common Man be the first one to highlight the issue.
Happy Birthday to WHO? - This WHO is a prominent politician and the person who is wishing is someone with high ambitions in local politics. Welcome to the new phenomenon of celebrating Political Birthdays.
Go down in interiors of country (particularly Maharashtra) and in small towns you will notice huge hoardings/banners across the road, as if its like some festival - of a politician’s birthday. A huge space occupies the photograph of this politician, little over his head and the pictures of respective national leader - try to tell that he is blessed by them… and the rest of the hoarding will carry another picture of some local (upcoming or new) politician stating his love beyond life for the politician. The rest of the hoarding will have some 25 odd faces - I guess what they call party workers.
The kind of adjectives used for this birthday boy (politician) makes me feel that they are only next to GOD. Some go ahead to the extent that they now wish them through television advertisements - after marathi news on many Marathi channels.
Question remains where does this money come from? Why doesnt the local civic authorities (Municipal Corporations) charge them for littering the town? What about the hazardous plastics which are used and what happens of it after that? And in many cases this birthday boy politician is almost unknown in that town itself.
Why all this fanfare? Irony is that these so called well wishers will not even take so much pains for their own kid’s birthday.
I have never seen this happen in my city. Will have to enquire.
Fine..
This is very True. I also feel the same. Ubnecessary watage of money. I just get irritated by seeing those photos. Photos are as if of some models.

I presume if we do a survey we will definitly find that most of these birthday boys could be histroy sheeters. its pathetict to see how our parties try to project our future leaders.
may god save the country if not ammas, dadas and madams….
Listen dude, why don”t you just come out in the open and say who you”re talking about? What are you afraid of? These aren”t the days of Emergency, my man!
before talking about any person.let us see how healthy a common man is?take the case of a pregnant woman after she delivers a child only the sex of a child is known.many hospitals don”t give a child’’s case history after its” birth.like it’’s blood group,it’’s psyche, etc, on oneside you talk about neonatology and on the other side its” a mystery. if a case sheet of a new born child is prepared and fed into the system with all the particulars like it’’s parents history of diabetis,bp,epilepsy, etc,.it will be much easier for any specialist to have a detailed info of a child thus accordingly treatment can be given.when he grows into an adult.thus many other diseases that may crop up is nipped in the bud.thus increasing one’’s longevity.kindly treat this as a general opinion only.
I saw similar tamasha of political ganapati hoardings last year and I was equally pained to see the misery of Hindu religion. The political pomp of Hindu parties were equally at par with so called secular and nationalist minority apeasing parties. I do not know whether similar hoardings appear during Id or Ramzan. That’’s religion at its hazardous best for Hindus. Politics at its naked worst.

It’’s not confined to small towns my friend. This manace is everywhere. And these f**kers do not even care for the hazards they are creating by putting these in places like round abouts.
These b*****ds act like they own the city
