The Pursuit

The Pursuit

Like a monsoon wind,

It splashes on my thoughts

Not so rough but hard as the wall,

Hitting my strings,

Taking the call,

On duty, it remains to remind,

I am walking without a hand,

Carrying no carts, leaving lot behind,

Dragging the boot on sands,

Here have I started,

Journey will take time crossing unseen lands,

There's no heart for the lines,

Pursuit is the end,

No holdings with the golden wines,

I hold the rain,

So will with the wind,

Happiness is what I pursue,

Worlds will be dropped,

So could be the carts,

But the end will not shift,

It will belong,

Allowed will never be

the games of broken heart.
