During 1967: When asked to a janitor at Kennedy Space Center- what is he doing? He stood with his legs crossed leaning on his broom and said, ” I am helping us go to the moon”.
A very odd view got developed in our country, developed countries are better. The racism struggle was going on even till as late as 1987. Several of american states took that long to approve laws which gave equal rights to afro-americans. But still they made it a point that the country as whole must never go down. Even if there were difference, none carried, was allowed to carry acts which hurt the progress of the nation as a whole. Effect! Even with the differences if the country/ economy/ agriculture are growing- everyone grows. You think you are being exploited- OK! think of the diffference your own voice will make if you are prosperous against you, one, who has no resource for himself.
A socially challenged person, who keeps on mourning for his exploitation. Can be of 2 types-
he keeps on asking for help, gets/ not gets help.
he develops himself, earns for himself, raises his voice towards exploitation. A different world in whole, for him and his decendents.
Martin Luther King Jr, had pointed out a great prospective to his people- we all together have money more then the 10th largest economy of world. Now if such a force goes on for an exchange together- is a really powerful force.
We like to put forward a point: we stand at our place and don’t do anything. I find a lot much of guilt in the statement. Think of the guilt that: a man working in mines in latin, must be suffering, several of them find highest degree of exploitations carried over on his family. He can not speak either. His condition can result in more pathatic situation then of ours. Guilt: Not guilt but a better present has to be the driving force. Brakes only help to control, accelerators are the one which speed us up.( both are never on the same pedal)
We don’t speak up, because we are morally/socially not protected by government. Does that mean, we can not go ahead and help some body else in need.
Schuller teaches: A field with crops is always better then a field without weeds. Instead of removing only weeds, try to plow your field.try to grow in your field.
We want to remove corruption, change the world. Remove all the weeds in the world. People need to eat, survive-if they will not get food easy, they will get it otheway. Why not to try to build a better world by doing our work best, by doing better work.
There is great proverb which runs around: You only live in the world you wish to.
Politicians come from society, society comes from youth, youth comes from colleges and schools and streets, they come from our homes. Change ourselves. Everything will change. You can’t be same and get something new. New comes when we are fit for the job. I am a strong believer: I get only what i deserve, so when i want something more, i have to change, adapt to what i want, qualify for it. We will get better, when we get better.
The benchmarks are made, they never were always there. There is no problem. Its just we don’t want to look at the real truth.
Let us look at the problems we cry on:
Education: we have more colleges and school: then any other country, still no of people who become really educated is very less.
Unemployment: The sectors in which we are concentrated: have among the highest professionals in the world. IT: Highest professional: INDIA, Law, Financials: Manufacturing as some more, physicians. Infact, Our dear Developed countries: don’t have even equal no of professionals in these sectors( they insourse indians). (are these the only sectors in the world?? Developed contries don’t think so)
Overpopulation: First India is being projected ahead, because of its population, only country with the proper number of manpower there in the world.
I just came to know a detail( i had some how missed it) about Kiran Bedi’s Tihad Endeavour: Sh was not there on a promotion: She was there under deputation. I just had missed it. I just had.
And the last thing that i will say on this matter. Don’t you think everything is connected.
We have people who need jobs, we also have people who need education, we also have people with money, we also have need for new development projects. We need good politicians, we also have youth who want to change the world.
We need technology to change our rural world, we also have technocrats.
Its the old indian problem: In orissa people will die by hunger, and in punjab we will have rodants ruining grains. Doesn’t it hit a chord.
