Why! what and for what

Well this is the question that has now come up on up to me. Why does a person works. Aim, the goal?? Those who may be thinking of answering..this is the stage one..clerification…this is stage two. the One you have read in college, in books is different, here the question is different, It is why, what and for what. Not three but one question….
