Shilds: the colors of Union 2

October 26th, 2010

Hi,
In line with yesterday’s discussions, i will move ahead considering that the term freedom is understood.

The importent points- is what happening around the country acceptable? Is the condition of people acceptable? I agree- it is not. For me the situation is bad. And it needs drastic changes.

How did it happen? I say, it did not happen. It was there. It existed even before only now it has compounded.
Who is responsible? I wouldn’t point fingures.
Instead i will take you to the globe, other south east naations, africa, latin america, asia pacific, former russian union. Is there something matching? If you come out of your cocoons and look at them, u may consider saying- yes!
Who is responsible over there?

Either u keep on playing the blame game else you wake up. Kashmir is not an isolated case. North east is not different, africa is same, orrisa and niger are the same. Latinos too are on same line. They stand where we do. But, we are lucky then they were.

To keep it crisp, i will shorten, the problems, the issues that have risen in j&k, or north east, found a face there too. But unlike our states these nations were comparatively naked. They had no one to back when calamity broke off.
Once these countries were dragged into terrorism, they had nothing backing them. They had resources everyone was eyeing, there was a cost they had to pay & they paid. A very heavy cost, what did they received, most of these nations today have lost control of resources, their population suffers from lack of funds, stable systems, trapped in cycle of droughts. Who stood to help them, world may say we did, but would the people agree.

On the same page consider, kashmir- 20 years of fighting, depression, loss of governance, nearly empty pockets, terror among people. Could any nation would have endured such a catastrophy?
Are we sure, if it was a seperate nation, what has happened would not have happened.
Open your eyes! Had it been not a part of India, what has happened till now, the fighting, had it not happened? The answer is no. when the resources started decreasing, it was then that it began. The world would have been even worst for my fellow men and children over there.

At least, today after, 20 years of fighting. You do have an option , to blame the leadership of india. And I will not say, you are wrong. But today, there is an option. With proper management and governance the things can be turned around.
You are not lucky, but there is a chance of success. And that is what matters. Because nations around the world did not have that.

At least we have each other to blame and people around, who are ready to say sorry for the neglect kashmir, north east suffered.
I am sorry!

In the beginning of discussion, there was a reason why i added orrisa too, it is suffering from cycles of drought. You are not the only state in India which has suffered, there are more, the matters in telengana are they different, are the matters in chattisgadh or WB different? No.

It could be termed again failure of governance, or failure of policies. the blame game. But I will restrain myself from saying that.

Before Mahatma Gandhi entered the scene, where were we? What were the socio conditions, economic, health conditions? The freedom of life didn’t even exist. We learned from him and his fellow men. That is the only base we have and considering the situations world has faced since 1950’s. We are in a good condition.

As i mentioned earlier, the world is moving towards uniting resources. Don’t push India back. If you think you know the way- Lead.
Don’t pull, Push. Take us out of the hole we are still in.

Thank you.
