Living in a large metropolis can come with its downsides. Finding parking is definitely one of them. Given the inadequate state of public transportation in this city, nearly everyone has their own car. There has always been talk of extending the underground lines so that they may better serve the city, but for now we are left with overcrowded streets and constant problems when it comes to parking. Everyone has experienced it. You’ve been circling around a certain area looking for parking and you finally spot a space. Two things will now happen: either it is built for a compact car or someone else in the same predicament sees it at the exact same time too.

For those that work in Los Angeles, this is an everyday occurrence, but the stress and frustration that goes along with parking is amplified tenfold when you also have a flight to catch. Parking in LAX can be a real headache, but planning ahead can ensure that you do not waste time and effort aimlessly circling lots that are already at capacity. There are many options available for those who need to park long term at the airport. There are many lots located in the vicinity of the airport itself that offer great amenities such as reservations by phone or through the internet, secure and monitored lots, as well as extremely economical options. To know more go to this link.

These parking options are a great way for frequent travelers to bypass the daily hassle of finding parking. LAX airport parking allows you to breathe easy and enjoy traveling without the frustration that goes along with looking for parking. This leaves you with a stress-free and pleasant time boarding that will hopefully carry over to a more pleasant trip overall.

Traveling, no matter for pleasure or for business, is synonymous with escape. And what better way to begin your escape from chaotic Los Angeles than by parking with ease and going on your merry way? These parking services take out the hassles and frustrations of parking. They simplify and streamline your experience so you can basically just park and leave. Additionally, they often offer shuttles that pick you up right at the lot and take you directly to the terminal. Ultimately, these parking services offer the solution to the annoyances of airport parking. By using one of these services, you can make sure that you will have a stress free start to your trip.

Tips to Remember For Parking at LAX http://blogs.rediff.com/airportparkinglax/2012/09/15/tips-to-remember-for-parking-at-lax/ http://blogs.rediff.com/airportparkinglax/2012/09/15/tips-to-remember-for-parking-at-lax/#comments Sat, 15 Sep 2012 06:46:31 +0000 airportparkinglax http://blogs.rediff.com/airportparkinglax/?p=66 LAX, or the Los Angeles International Airport, is the sixth busiest airport in the world based on the fact that it serves more than sixty one million travelers each and every year. That’s a lot of people, and overseeing the airport involves the management of hundreds of different tasks and factors each day. And of course, those who fly in and out of LAX will have plenty of considerations as well. Things like the runway, the terminal and the time of their flight are all important, but among the most overlooked aspects of flight here will be the parking. It’s something that needs to be dealt with, but many don’t think about it until they arrive.

There are plenty of different options when it comes to parking at LAX. Many simply choose to use the airport’s parking terminals and take the various shuttles to the airport itself. But finding parking can be time consuming and difficult. Not only that, but leaving your car in the lot is a bit risky since security can only monitor the car up to a certain point. As a result, it’s often in your best interest to consider other options. These options vary, but for most there’s no question that parking services outside of the airport are the right call.

Planning ahead makes a lot of sense, and if you’ll take the time to do so you’ll find that you’re in a much better situation. One perfect option for airport parking at LAX is to use a service that specializes in this. There are services that actually offer you a better way to park. You can reserve your spot online or by phone, ensuring that you have a spot when you arrive. The lots are usually very secure and monitored by the company, through cameras, gates, and often times, live guards. The best part is, you will save money since the price is more budget friendly than airport parking.

These parking services make a lot of sense since they’ll save you time, energy, and frustration. They also provide a taxi or free shuttle service that will get you right from the lot to the airport in comfort. They’re so effective that most frequent fliers have been using them for years due to their convenience and affordability. Skipping the hassles of finding a spot in the main lot is well worth doing, and if you’re looking for the best alternative then you shouldn’t look beyond what these parking areas can offer you.

Parking LAX - Los Angeles Airport Parking Options http://blogs.rediff.com/airportparkinglax/2012/07/10/parking-lax-los-angeles-airport-parking-options/ http://blogs.rediff.com/airportparkinglax/2012/07/10/parking-lax-los-angeles-airport-parking-options/#comments Tue, 10 Jul 2012 09:14:28 +0000 airportparkinglax http://blogs.rediff.com/airportparkinglax/?p=61 Whether
you’re a seasoned veteran at Los Angeles International Airport or are
planning on visiting it for the very first time, it can be overwhelming.
Also known by the FAA call letters LAX, this is one of the busiest
international airports in the world. As a result, if you need to park
your car at the airport you have a wide array of choices that present
themselves to you. There are over 25 lots that provide airport parking
to LAX, and that doesn’t include the on-site parking. When you are
starting to look into the best airport parking options for your
needs, it will depend on whether you prefer a short term or long term parking option.

There are several onsite LAX parking
options that are located right at the airport. Some of these require
reservations, while others will just fill up on the day that you arrive.
Since it is such a busy airport, you may not have the time to drive
around to all of the different parking lots. To
avoid the hassle, you might want to take the time to make a reservation
for your Los Angeles airport parking. This will allow you to secure a
parking spot even on a busy day.

los angeles airport parking

Lots
that are located off-site usually have shuttle buses that will drive
you to the main terminal. Although there are airport parking lots that
are off-site, none of them are a significant distance from the airport,
so you will be in the terminal with plenty of time to make your flight.
Be sure to factor this travelling time when you are looking for LAX
parking options, however, so that you don’t find yourself pressed for
time. Security lines can be quite long at LAX due to the high volume of
international travellers passing through.

The main benefit of choosing airport parking LAX
over other types of transportation services is that you can save a
great deal of money. Instead of paying for a pricey taxicab or private
car service, you will have your very own car to take you to and from the
airport. Because you are dropped off directly at the terminal with the
shuttle bus, you don’t have to walk half a mile to the terminal with
your luggage like you would in on-site parking facilities. These are
only a few reasons why off-site Los Angeles airport parking services can
be the best option.

Approach Los Angeles Airport Parking - Bigger Airplanes, Bigger Airports http://blogs.rediff.com/airportparkinglax/2012/06/29/approach-los-angeles-airport-parking-bigger-airplanes-bigger-airports/ http://blogs.rediff.com/airportparkinglax/2012/06/29/approach-los-angeles-airport-parking-bigger-airplanes-bigger-airports/#comments Fri, 29 Jun 2012 05:02:18 +0000 airportparkinglax http://blogs.rediff.com/airportparkinglax/?p=55 According to statistics provided by the Federal Aviation Administration in 2011, Los Angeles International Airport, more commonly known as LAX, served 61,859,523 airline passengers and was home to 601,416 aircraft operations. That year, it was the busiest airport in the Greater Los Angeles Area and in California, the third busiest airport (after Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Chicago O’Hare International Airport) in the United States, and the sixth busiest airport in the world in terms of passenger traffic. With new developments in aviation technology producing larger, more fuel efficient airliners, airports all across the globe are sure to feel the imminent increase in passenger traffic and the need for more Los Angeles Airport Parking. LAX has already started the construction to accommodate the approaching masses.

LAX Airport Parking

The Tome Bradley International Terminal at LAX has been undergoing a massive $1.5billion renovation project since February 22, 2010. New airliners such as the superjumbo Airbus A380 are simply too large to fit in the majority of LAX boarding gates; currently, only two gates at LAX are capable of accommodating such large airplanes. Although construction was originally set to be completed by December 2012, weather problems and an unanticipated relocation of some utility lines have pushed back the slated opening date to spring 2013 and the construction completion date to the end of 2013. The new west side boarding dates, the great hall, and a new retail and dining area will open during spring 2013, with the phase two east boarding gates to be completed by the end of 2013. There will be a total of eighteen new gates; nine of which have been built specifically to accommodate the ever-expanding airliners.

In order to support the higher traffic of passengers who are sure to travel on larger aircraft such as the Airbus A380, the Los Angeles Board of Airports Commissioners has commissioned the redesign of a new baggage screening system within the Tom Bradley International Terminal. Although it was installed only two years ago, operational issues have plagued the system, which only manages to screen between 1,500 - 1,800 pieces of luggage per hour instead of the expected 3,240 pieces of luggage it was initially designed for. At the behest of several air carriers, the Los Angeles Board of Airport Commissioners has approved the addition of a new outdoor lounge terrace for the comfort of the increasing number of travelers. There will also be an overhaul of the overall architecture of the terminal, perhaps also to the LAX Airport Parking structure outside the terminal. Construction on a pair of additional taxi lanes is also in the works.

Airport Parking LAX: How to Make Parking at LAX Easier http://blogs.rediff.com/airportparkinglax/2012/05/17/airport-parking-lax-how-to-make-parking-at-lax-easier/ http://blogs.rediff.com/airportparkinglax/2012/05/17/airport-parking-lax-how-to-make-parking-at-lax-easier/#comments Thu, 17 May 2012 07:18:47 +0000 airportparkinglax http://blogs.rediff.com/airportparkinglax/?p=53 Los Angeles international airport (LAX) is a well known popular for travelers and frequent fliers of LAX. It is one of the busiest airports in the world because of its location, size, and decent prices.

LAX was a small airfield found in 1928 and later the council of LA City decided to build an area of 640 acres in southern Westchester. Then it was named Mine’s field and the first building built was Hanger No.1 in the year 1929. This was listed in the National register consisting Historic places.

In 1930 the airfield was opened officially and became a municipal airfield after 7 years. With small and fast expansions finally became Los Angeles Airport in the year 1941. Finally the name LAX acquired in the year 1949.

Lax has become one the sixth busiest airport in the world and third busiest in the United States.  It offers over 565 daily flights to 81 domestic cities and over 1,000 weekly nonstop flights to 66 international destinations. It goes without saying that it can be a bit difficult to find LAX Airport Parking.

LAX Airport Parking is expensive but there are ways to save money and to enjoy the vacation you want. First and foremost, find all the online rates for LAX airport parking and reserve well in advance to get discounts on long term or short term parking. Be sure to check all of the websites for airport parking; some of them may offer other services at a lower rate.

Now-a-days an additional discount may be offered through face book and twitter pages of LAX Parking.

Off-site parking is also less expensive than parking at the airport because it saves few bucks and even avoids the issues like dragging suitcases, carrying across the parking, etc. Most off-site Airport Parking LAX will provide shuttle services that take you to and from the LAX Airport.  This LAX airport shuttle service is much more convenient than airport parking at LAX and more economical than using a taxi or limo. Advanced shuttle reservations and pre-payment for your LAX airport transportation will take the time and hassle out of getting to and from the Los Angeles airport.

While preparing for your trip, here are a few tips to follow:

  • Be aware of strictly regulated items and try to avoid burning time at the      security points.
  • Avoid wearing expensive jewelry
  • Leave gifts unwrapped
  • Keep I.D tags on all the carrying bags.
  • Use shared and public transport to make traveling easier
  • Arrive early to provide comfortable and scheduled boarding time.

LAX Parking - Overcoming the Challenge with Trip Planning! http://blogs.rediff.com/airportparkinglax/2012/04/16/lax-parking-overcoming-the-challenge-with-trip-planning/ http://blogs.rediff.com/airportparkinglax/2012/04/16/lax-parking-overcoming-the-challenge-with-trip-planning/#comments Mon, 16 Apr 2012 04:44:43 +0000 airportparkinglax http://blogs.rediff.com/airportparkinglax/?p=51 Finding LAX parking can be a challenge, especially in the chaos that surrounds a long trip. When you are looking for airport parking LAX, there are several factors you’ll want to consider. The first is whether or not you really need to bring your vehicle in the first place! One of the best ways to avoid the parking dilemma is to simply avoid bringing your vehicle at all. Since Los Angeles has some of the best public transportation around, it can sometimes be a good idea to leave the driving to someone else and make your way to the airport using a bus or shuttle.

Of course, it is not always possible to use public transportation to get to and from the airport. LAX parking begins to look like a pretty good idea when you are toting a huge amount of baggage. Airport parking LAX might also be necessary for you if you are bringing multiple people, such as children or the whole family. So what are your options? Well, it depends on the cost you are willing to absorb and the amount of time that you will be staying away. You should also consider how far you want to travel from parking to LAX itself.

LAX parking

Airport parking LAX includes facilities on the grounds of the airport itself as well as many private LAX parking options. If you are only going away for a weekend, then you might settle for the parking in the airport itself. However, many people find this to be prohibitively expensive when they are going on a long trip. Plus, the argument can be made that it is less safe than picking a private option away from the airport. There are always people coming and going from LAX, after all, and larceny might go unnoticed until you actually manage to get home!

If you look at private LAX parking, you might be able to get a better deal. Airport parking LAX can come with a shuttle ride to the airport grounds — even if the car park you choose does not have such an option, they can usually help you with a taxi cab or other assistance. Aside from the cost, think about safety and security measures. Are there cameras? Are there guards who make occasional rounds? Although it is very likely that nothing will happen, it is always best to play it safe. Be sure to remove anything of great value, and consider blocking the windscreen to avoid curious onlookers.

LAX Airport Parking — A Safe Place for Your Car http://blogs.rediff.com/airportparkinglax/2012/02/08/lax-airport-parking-a-safe-place-for-your-car/ http://blogs.rediff.com/airportparkinglax/2012/02/08/lax-airport-parking-a-safe-place-for-your-car/#comments Wed, 08 Feb 2012 05:57:30 +0000 airportparkinglax http://blogs.rediff.com/airportparkinglax/?p=45 LAX airport parking

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is the fifth busiest airport in the world. With flights coming in and out of LAX from all over the world, it’s probably no surprise that the streets surrounding the airport are quite busy as well. This means that the parking structures at LAX see a lot of cars coming and going, which puts parking spaces in demand. Elementary economics will tell you that, as demand goes up, so will the price. So if you’re looking for LAX airport parking, you’ll want to find it away from the airport’s main parking structures. Fortunately, there’s plenty of airport parking LAX to be had.

LAX is run pretty efficiently, and that includes provisions for overnight and long-term LAX airport parking. There are many parking lots located near the airport that allow you to park your car overnight or longer, and charge you a reasonable price for leaving your car this long. There are actually lots of options for airport parking LAX, including lots and structures that are operated by the airport itself, and private lots run by parking companies. The best lots will provide transportation to and from the actual airport terminals on a regular basis, so that you can get to and from your car easily.

Since the lots for LAX are all located pretty close to the airport itself, most of them run shuttles that will take you to and from the terminals. This makes it a lot easier to get to your gate on time for your flight, and to get to your car after you land. It’s important for you to factor in a little extra travel time to account for the time you’ll spend parking your car and getting from airport parking LAX to your terminal; a minimum of thirty minutes.

It’s great that you have the option to take advantage of LAX airport parking. Instead of having to pay a taxi to drive you there or waking a friend up early in the morning for a red-eye flight, you can just leave your car overnight for a very reasonable fee. Many frequent flyers take advantage of the many options for airport parking LAX, and it saves them a lot of time, money, and inconvenience. And these lots have security and surveillance, so you don’t have to worry about your car getting broken into. As long as you’re careful not to leave any valuables in plain sight, you shouldn’t have a problem.

LAX Airport Parking – Choosing an LAX Parking Service http://blogs.rediff.com/airportparkinglax/2012/01/13/lax-airport-parking-choosing-an-lax-parking-service/ http://blogs.rediff.com/airportparkinglax/2012/01/13/lax-airport-parking-choosing-an-lax-parking-service/#comments Fri, 13 Jan 2012 10:28:42 +0000 airportparkinglax http://blogs.rediff.com/airportparkinglax/?p=43 LAX Airport Parking

Los Angeles is one of the most fascinating cities in the world.  Aside from being the second largest city in the United States, it is the central hub for the movie business, a cultural arts delight, and the third largest economic center in the world.  However, sometimes residents need to travel to other places for business or pleasure.  When you are flying out of Los Angeles Airport (LAX), it’s a good idea to be familiar with the available parking.  LAX parking is offered in a variety of lots by a whole host of companies.  You can pay for extended LAX airport parking when you will be gone for months at a time, or simply park for a few days (or even hours) during a short trip.

LAX parking offers the convenience of your own vehicle, both in getting yourself and your luggage to the airport and when you return home.  Cabs can be expensive and might not be readily available upon your return.  In addition, taxis may not be able to accommodate your group or luggage items.  Using LAX airport parking services allows you proximity to the airport and a secure place for your vehicle while you are away from home.

When you are choosing what company to use for LAX parking, the choices are very competitive.  However, price is not the only consideration because not all LAX airport parking offers the same quality.   The security of your vehicle is very important.  There are few things more frustrating than returning from a trip to find that your vehicle is missing or damaged.  Proximity to the airport or frequent and adequate shuttle services are also an important consideration.  Getting to and from your vehicle with luggage can be a hassle if you have a long way to walk.  The length of experience and proven customer service of a parking service can help indicate the quality of service you will receive.

There are some possible ways to save money when looking for great LAX airport parking service.  If you have a very early flight or a very late return, combining hotel stays and parking services can save you money.  Some LAX parking companies offer customer loyalty programs that reward you for repeat business.  Frequent travelers can save quite a bit this way.  Multi-vehicle discounts are usually available if you have a large group flying out.  In addition, asking about discounts or special deals can reduce the price for your parking.  Spending a little time finding the right parking service at LAX can give you peace of mind while you enjoy your trip.

If you aren’t careful with choosing parking for your visit to the Los Angeles Airport, your options may become complicated and expensive. It is important to know that you do have several options when you are traveling out of LAX and you need to take your time to weigh them out.  Some of the airport parking LAX solutions available near LAX include offsite parking services, onsite parking with reservations, and a variety of other accommodations to suit your specific needs.  Take your time to learn about your options and find the best deals for your flight dates.

Many travelers prefer the convenience of offsite airport parking because they offer complimentary shuttle services.  People who have use the shuttle services have reported that they are a lot faster than they imagined and hassle free.  Since you are dropped off at the terminal you don’t have to drag your luggage half a mile to the terminal.  There is 24-hour security in most of the offsite parking lots, which allows you to travel stress-free knowing that your vehicle is safe no matter how long your trip is.

Most people like the convenience of LAX Airport Parking because of its shuttle service, even if the cost is a bit higher.  If this is your case, you should still take the time to check out other options to make sure that you aren’t missing out on any special offers.  It is common for people to stick with things that they are familiar with, which is fine most of the time but when you are looking to save time and money it is worth looking for other options.  Understanding the options that are available is a very important part in saving.  The best way to get affordable parking prices is to make your offsite reservations well in advance.

Most travelers will agree that the best benefit of parking offsite is that they are able to save a significant amount of money.  Booking ahead of time allows you to take the most advantage of available discounts.  Making your offsite reservations will also allow you to be at ease knowing that you will have a place to park and don’t have to worry about showing up to LAX and not finding a spot to park.  In the end, the decision is completely up to you but if you want savings, convenience, safety, and a convenience you can depend on, then offsite airport parking is the best option when you are traveling from Los Angeles.
