The 61st Republic Day

The 61st Republic day arrives.  61 years in between.  Truly time & tide wait for none.  The Pledge that our great leaders took then is history.  The transition of power from the British to Indian People converting India into a Republic.  The solemn faith in building the nation led by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Sardar Ballav Bhai Patel, C.Raj Gopalchari have produced a nation that we are today.  Above all the path of non-violence led Mahatma Gandhi has made us a great country today before the world.  We are proud to be Indian.  Indians have excelled in all fields say it arts, say it science, literature , culture and what not.  The Indian heart still beats for brotherhood, a feeling of peaceful coexistence.  The amount of tolerance that Indians have is really a great show of capacity for abhoring anything .  No other country in the world has such courage and capacity for survival amidst turbulence.
The 26/11 is not a far away incident still memories are afresh. the blood stains are still visible in the walls of the Taj and the Trident.  The Nation has managed to come out of the horrific incident so peacefully and so successfully building the bridge so fast.  The heart of every Indian is still full of grief committed by our foolish neighbours who do not know what is peaceful co existence.  Imagine if it would have been USA what would have been the fate of our Neighbours today.  They have for no fault of Iraq destroyed and devastated the country so swiftly realising their mistakes after the aftermath.  But the blood is still boiling in the hearts of Americans, in their efforts to eliminate the enmies of the US they are busy bombarding the beautiful country Afganisthan.  For eliminating one person the US is busy bombarding Afganisthan almost everyday.  There is a limit to US adventurism.  US should not never forget that one who stays in a glass house should not throw stones at others.
US is probably the greatest of culprits in harbouring terrorism around the globe for their adventurism ideologies and military supremacy.  Had they resisted the attacks terrorism would not have taken such a pace today.  Human nature is difficult to be understood.  One thing is sure US can not snatch away the freedom of innocent people by its civilised technique of invading the territory of the other.  At least now they should use restraint refrain from any more destructive mechanism and devastating the others by their invasion. Now Mahatma Gandhi’s non-violence methods of peaceful coexistence is the only solution to global peace.

THE NEW YEAR BEGINS

The new year has just begun.  Today it is 3rd January,2010. Three days have passed with lot of celebrations going around the world.  Even the common man also has joined the frenzy of the new year by going to Temples, Churches and respective religious places for the well being of the self, the family, the society, the nation and the world at large.  All is well that ends well.  The  year 2009 ended with a bang and the year 2010 began with a bang.  The Death of 2009 people celebrated till the last minute of the clock not allowing the year to leave its cocoon that easily.  The New Born being celebrated with a warm welcome note of HAPPY NEW YEAR.Lot of musical nights followed by hiphops to mouthwatering delicacies touched the occasion to its heights.  The countdown started in New Zealand 1st to be followed by Australia where the passage of the time was 1st with lot of fire crackers and fire work display all over the entire globe.  Thanks to the grace of news channels which went non-stop in beaming the incidents live telecasting event by event to the world.

While bidding audieu to the outgoing 2009 we assembled for a Bhajan Ceremony of the Art of Living at Bhubaneswar.  The Bhajans almost took everybody by their total participation in the event and enjoyment with spiritual discipline in mind.  The New year as well passed that way welcoming it with Bhajans and dance organised by the Art of Living in Bhubaneswar.  It was nice to be part of it.  It was chilling cold.  Still people rejoiced and enjoyed to their utmost welcoming the New Year with whole hearted ness.  While the world is too young as it appears from its years, every living being was adding a year to its countdown.  While lot of things keep happenning our little new guest a baby dog was entertaining us with its childish whims.  The new year passed of peacefully. But in this wintry chilly nights I have to travel roughly 600 kilometres to join my services after the celebrations leaving my home.  Time was passing away so swiftly.  There was no record of the swiftness of its travel. But the irony never leaves.  You have to survive for another year to bid a farewell to 2010 and welcome 2011 but survival again is a question of uncertainty which no one can predict.
Only an undying desire keeps us burning for the events to kiss us and leave us .
