Spiderman Strikes Again

Spiderman costumes have really changed from when they were initially planned.

When the superhero was started to be developed by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, the superhero was given the superb red and blue suit that has become the norm of today’s essence of the famous Marvel superhero. In the first drawings, some described the initial costume as “Captain America with Cobwebs.”

It was in the 1980’s that the Spiderman costume altered from its original design of red and blue. The Spiderman costume sustained a complete change to a newer black and white design, for he came from a distant planet to fight battles between earth’s most famous superheroes and their enemies.

This caused a colossal outcry within the comic fan community with many saying that this Spiderman costume should be changed right away.It was said that Spiderman’s traditional red and blue costume made him an idol and should be kept as is.It was felt that this Spiderman costume would have a negative effect on Spiderman’s alter ego, Peter Parker. It was then that Peter got rid of the symbiote of being this, and then this other became associated with Eddie Brock, only to have him transform into one of Spiderman’s most despised enemies, Venom.

In Spiderman’s first movie, Peter Parker’s Spiderman costume was a duplicate of the one clothed in a wrestling match against wrestler, “Bone Saw McGraw” (Randy Savage).This Spiderman costume was simply a long-sleeved red t-shirt with spider and web depictions in black across the front, a red ski-mask, blue pants, and socks.

Another version of the Spiderman costume was one displayed by Scarlett Spider who was actually Benjamin Reilly.What happened with Benjamin Reilly is that it was scripted that he was actually a clone of Peter Parker, hence Scarlett Spider. Scarlet Spider’s Spiderman costume was a reddish, scarlet uniform with a blue rippled jacket to go with it.

The most controversial getup was the “Iron Spider” one. This costume was constructed by Tony Stark who was the alter ego of Iron Man, and this getup was designed of red and gold.The getup of this Spiderman costume spurred mainly negative response from hardcore Spiderman followers.

After this controversy, Peter Parker embarked on constructing an even better new costume for himself.Peter Parker designed the “Stealth Suit,” which had sported diverse colours and gave him outstandingly strong abilities as a superhero.

For instance, one recent capability that Peter Parker had with this newer suit was that he was capable to become invisible around other people- a new power.Another incredible capability that this stealth suit had was that it could shunt all sonic attacks that came up against him.Still yet another feature of this suit was that Spiderman could melt any metal objects, whatsoever.

After being shot in an attack, Peter Parker decides that his Spiderman costume needs to have bulletproof armour, and he designs a better Spiderman costume to do just that. This new suit was black with yellow spider symbols.

The “Future Foundation” is a superb superhero team that spiderman joins sees him make yet another new Spiderman costume; this time completely white, but it also has the capability to change colours.
