VEIL OF TEARS

Far away from the world of sorrows
I adorned a world of mine
In that lonely world I spent hours
Before taking u to this world of mine

I furnished hastily the whole of this word of ours
And called it the world of our own
Prayed to God for his blessing showers
Before I welcomed u..to the world of our own

This wolrd of ours…which the ignorant call a fantasy
Oh..the ignorant…whose words are worthlesss and paltry
Behold ye..do u know that to us this is an ecstacy
For in this fantasy there is no misery!!!!!

Thus in this world of ours
We laughed we loved we shared we lived
And never noticed the passing hours
Which in between our fingers slipped

Now when the time has come to bid good bye
The fears become tears and flow from our eyes
Threatening to smash our dreams with cruelty
From far… I hear the cry of impending reality

Hold my hand.. the strength of mine
With will and wish lets defeat the time
Seal the vows.. we have less time
Repeat these vows with me
Lets seal the your bond with mine

“Entreat me not to leave you,
Or to return from following after you,
For where you go I will go,
And where you stay I will stay.
Your people will be my people,
And your God will be my God
And where you die, I will die
And there I will be buried.
May the Lord do with me and more
If anything but death parts you from me.”

Stands before you your veiled bride
With no gems or gold to her side
The beating heart her only treasure
Unveil the veil of tears… and make her your dear

TO ALL THOSE PPL DER WAITING TO PROCURE THE LOVE OF URS. DO IT BEFORE ITS TOO LATE. UNVEIL THE VEIL OF TEARS…

This is a wonderful piece of poetry Anitha. It was an absolute joy to read, for you have captured the essence of the moment.
Your poetry has great strength and maturity of character; loved the fluidity and your subtle use of prose within the said context. I look forward to your next piece…

this is awesome…so u also believe in love…your poem asks the reader to express himself/herself in front of someone whom he/she loves truly..and i think that it is a nice idea to pull yourself out from the state of fear and confusion. a state which takes almost everything out of you i.e your time, your mind and your everything.
