ખાલી ડાળી ના ભાર ને સમેટતા,

વૃક્ષ નુ વલપવું કોણે દીઠું..???

આભાસી અસ્તિત્વ છતાં


પહોચાડી દીધાં અમને રણ થી રસ્તા સુધી


મૃગજળ હંમેશા છળનારાં નથી હોતાં.

શુન્યતા ના આવરણો માં હિબકે ચઢ્યો;

વિશ્વાસ મારો જ કેમ એરણે ચઢ્યો?

રઝળતી થઈ ગઈ સઘળી પળો;
સમેટવા પળો ને જિંદગી નો પનો કેમ ટૂંકો પડ્યો?

થઈ બિહામણી આવી ને ઊભે છે હર રાત;
નિંદર ને આંખ સાથે કયો અણબનાવ નડ્યો?

નથી સાથ દેતા મન ને ઉલેચવા;
શબ્દો ને પણ કયો વિસામો નડ્યો?

એક ડગલું જ અમે તો હજુ માંડ્યું�તું,ન જાણે ક્યાં ફંટાઈ ગઈ જીંદગી?
