The aim of writing this blog is not to define what a leader is , though u may define him as a parasite who manipulates u so that he may look good in front of d CEO.
Example:- He makes u work whole night n then early morning; he gives ur team an utterly boring ppt. Now u will yawn in front of d team n yawn being the second most infectious thing (first is laughter), it will spread n then he will complain to d CEO that he is working with a team of morons.(stop yawning!!!)

Anyways, the purpose of this blog is to educate abt the top five lies which leaders speak:-

Lie No.1:- our people r d best
Is only due to sheer magic that d 'best' employees get drawn to your company which pays industry-average salary or is it because that there is a strange mental condition that makes some people brilliant at their job yet unable to compare two salary numbers n determining which is higher?

Lie No.2:- I love you.
Is it likely ur boss suddenly wakes up one morning n finds u irresistible or its time for 360 degree review?

Lie No3:- Ur contribution is important.
Has ur boss forgotten that employees like to feel that their work is being valued by d company. With value comes self-esteem , n with self-esteem comes request for money.
Any raise brings down d bottomline, there by making ur leader's stock-options worthless.

Lie No 4:- People are our NO.1 assets.
I asked Dilbert n he told me that d reason y companies treat their employees in d same way as a leaf blower treats leaves bcoz d number one asset of company is money. Employees come ninth(carbon paper is eighth)

Lie No 5:- Your ultimate objective is to help d company make money.
Its not ur leader but Business School professors which are behind this crap.(no wonder the number of b-school prof successful in business can be counted on fingers).

The real objective of company is advancement of ur career.u don't go into d company to work day n night n bring profits to d company. U go in d company to became a leader n tell others d above mentioned lies.

So d next time ur leader tells u d a lie.u can enlighten ur co-worker and help him in giving d leader a fitting reply(make sure d leader doesn't comes to know that ur encouraging ur co-worker).
