Are we really a soft state?

The sanctions committee of the UN Security Council had
circulated a note to its members that the United States, backed by
Britain and France, had twice tried to add JuD chief Hafiz Mohammed
Saeed to the list of individuals and organizations connected to
terrorism in May 2007, but the move was blocked by China, according to
a note circulated in the UNSC on Wednesday, December 10th, 2008. A
similar attempt directed against the organization in April 2006 was
also blocked by China, the note said.

Why China took such deep interest and showed it’s great love for an
anti Indian organization called Jamaat-ud-Dawah. What interest China
has in one Hafiz Mohammed Saeed, a branded enemy of India and the
western world. JuD is a front for LeT, based in Pakistan. Why no one in
our MEA is even giving this a thought? What does this indicate?

Isn’t this a sorry affair, that China has some future plan against
India, and hence that country wants our entire might, energy, thoughts,
and force is directed away from that country and towards Pakistan. It
is part of more deep and sinister design against India. It is a known
fact that China has laid a claim on entire Arunachal Pradesh. Are we
capable of defending our Arunachal Pradesh. China’s aim is not just
Arunachal Pradesh, but it wants to prove to the world that India is no
match for China. It wants to prove to the world that there is no
comparison between the two, and hence there will be a repeat of 1962 in
very near future. China is stronger today than it was in 1962. Can
India say this about itself, after just 10 terrorists defied entire
police force of 50000 of Mumbai, and killed people at will. Isn’t this
a rehearsal of some bigger plot?

All I want to say is…Do not neglect our North East, when our total
attention is towards our western borders. I do not want to presume
anything more than this, but the way our Malabar coast, our Konkan
coast, our Gujarat coast, The soil of our neighbors like Bangladesh,
Nepal and Myanmar is being used. The way Indians are dying on our own
soil. Aren’t we becoming a soft state, and a soft target for our
enemies which are surrounding us from all the sides?

…and in the process getting killed each day.

Mumbai Attack: Beside Kasab Only Mr. Narayan Rane Knows who did it

“I am making a responsible statement and will reveal the details at anappropriate time, that certain leaders had provided financial and
logistical support to the Pakistani terrorists who created mayhem in
Mumbai.”
-Narayan Rane.

As a responsible person he has made this responsible statement, and this responsible gentleman must know that, we, the victims of the attack, have the right to know NOW. because we must know NOW, who had signed our own death warrant in our own country?

I demand, IB, Crime Branch, Maharashtra Police, CBI, RAW, and other agencies take note of this statement and demand details of the truth he has uttered. because withholding information on the commissioning of an offence from the police or a magistrate is a crime under section 39 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. hence, Concealment of sensitive
information relating to a grave offence, itself amounts to an offence.

We Indians should not take Mr. Narayan Rane’s statement lightly, because it seems that
if anyone else, beside the arrested terrorist Mohammed Ajmal Kasab, has
any information on the terror attack on Mumbai and War on India, then
it is Mr. Narayan Rane.

The central government should order an inquiery in to this and The Politician leader/s who have provided logistic as well as financial support to the terrorist should be arrested forthwith.

I also demand that BJP, ShivSena and MNS should raise this issue right now, to compell the government to interrogate Mr. Rane in this matter at this moment itself. If they do not do this then they will fail in their patriotic duty.

Mr. Rane should be provided with full Z plus security, because he is going to reveal the names of the people who have  provided support to the terrorists, as a responsible person of Maharashtra politics. His life is very precious to Mumbaikers and should be protected at any cost as government is protecting Mohd. Ajmal Kasab’s life.

Mr. Rane, The appropriate time is not the time when it suits you, the appropriate time is NOW, because the people of Mumbai asks you NOW. REVEAL the NAMES NOW.

Will he tell us before we meet again on Wednesday 10th in front of the Taj at 6.00 pm?

I think I know what Zardari’s gift is to India before the General Elections.

In the Year 1950, immediately after Chinese revolution,India was offered the UN Security Council but then Prime Minister JawaharLal Nehru turned it down -  may be at the advice of Russia or for the fear of offending China for accepting American invitation. Ultimately the permanent seat went to China, and India voted for the same. China paid back this gratitude of India with its oriental back-stabbing method. Invaded India in 1962. Mr. Nehru ordered the Indian army to “throw out” Chinese from the Indian soil, but our armywas ill-equipped, because Nehru’s protege, Mr. V. K. Krishna Menon, had ordered our arm factories to stop producing arms and produce coffee percolators, and other such “useful” items in our day to day life because India is a peace loving country. (weather he was sold out or not is a different issue).

Indira included Sikkim with India, which was also a Chinese claim, but now they claim the whole of Arunachal Praderesh.

They helped Pakistan acquire Nuclear power, clandestinely,
for which Pakistan gave China suzerainty over Aksai Chin, which too is
part of India in Indian maps only.

I had, earlier, in this blogs and other blogs, had said that China would attack India  immediately after the Olympics. Reading China politics is like reading an open book. They are straight forward, focused people, who will get what they want by any means, instead of
beating around the “BUSH”, like us.

China proved this in Vienna meet of the NSG, they did its best to spoil Indian swan-song of ending 34 years apartheid by international community, of which the China is also a member, in the last minutes of the deal. Had it not for the BUSH, they would have
spoil it.
…and now see this, today, TOI has reported about China’s needling of Indian forces all along the 4057 km LAC.They intruded on September 2-3 at the strategically located
Pangong Tso lake and Trig Heights in Eastern Ladakh (which is part of
Jammu and Kashmir).

Can we afford loosing J&K? Isthis the good news President Zardari of Pakistan wants to give us before the general election in India as he said just yesterday?

“PLA has really stepped up incursions into our side ineastern Ladakh region this year, with well over 100 transgressionsbeing recorded there since January,” reports TOI today.(check it out, http://www.timesofindia.com)

Right since the Kargil conflict with Pakistan, People’sLiberation Army of China is onstructing a road right up to the lake’ssouthern bank, this is to support Pakistan in future Kargils with India.

Again they are claiming the “finger” area of Sikkim as their own territory. In last few months there are 80 recorded incursions across Sikkim border.

As far as I read, China and Pakistan will engage us on ourNorthern and North west frontier, and while we will be busy on that frontier, China will attack from the eastern side and will try to grab the Arunachal Pradesh, and parts of Sikkim called the “finger”.

And they are no British, they will not go away even in coming 200 years by non-violence methods. We have seen the conditions in Tibet. To trust China is to trust that death will not come to you.

…and we are too confident about ourselves, fighting amongst ourselves on petty regional matters and language issues like Marathi and Hindi and Tamil and Urdu etc.. Time has come NOW to act together. If we wants to save our sovereignty the time is Now to prepare for it. Our sovereignty  will come under attack predictably in very near future.

Let me committ suicide

To understand the plight of a poor farmer who is about to commit suicide, one has to come out of a farmer mother”s womb. No one else can understand about his sufferings and his phase through which he is passing.

Farming in India is a loss making profession basically, but it is a traditional business, and if you do not work in your field and do not plough, entire village will talk about it and will say thu thu. hence, out of fear one has to farm. You get a good “fasal” i.e. yield after 4 to 5 months. Not only the farmer, but his entire family works hard in the field, and if he has larger field, then he will have to bring outside workforce on daily wages of Rs.70/- per person for man and Rs.35/- per woman. These costs, wages, seed cost, fertilizer cost, humus cost, pesticides, medicines etc. costs back breaking. Above these, consider the cost of electricity bill and water charges. at times, you have toIndia
order a water tanker to water your produce. Oh God…..

Now, after occurring all these costs, consider this, Many time you get duplicate seeds hence you are never sure about proper crop after putting in all those back and neck breaking efforts, whatever you get is God’s blessings. and if there is unseasonal rain, then you are screwed. your entire effort will go down the drain, what will you call this? God’s curse?

(We have lost all our wheat crop and green chana crop on the holi day this year, because of unseasonal rains in Satara, Maharashtra)

Now the second part,

if there is good crop you sell your produce in the open market, here starts your mis-fortune. You meet dalals i.e. agents of businessmen, hoarders or corrupt government officials who demand money in order to certify the quality of your crop. You never get proper value of your crop. and “Jagat ka Tat, Desh ka Annadata” remains a bagger and middle man and govt. officials make all the money. only if our agriculture minister pay attention to this facts and not cricket and cheer girls.

If a farmer has less land, then he works in his farm early in the morning and in night, and during the day time he works in other”s field, earning 70/- per day, and his wife also works earning Rs.35/- per day, totalling 105/- per day, (NOT EVERY DAY) he has five to seven mouth to feed. two to three kids are school going. that expense is separate. if someone in the family falls ill in this condition, the medical bill will go upto 10 to 15000 rupees.

It is during such hard times, the farmer takes a loan from Shylock or moneylender. at only 5% to 6% interest, per month i.e. 60% to 72% per Annum. If he fails to generate such loan, he asks some close relative to stand as his guarantor.

The tragedy starts now,

In order to pay back the moneylender and in order to save his dignity and relation with the guarantor, he mortgages his house to some village financial institute or some small co-operative bank, and then in order to pay EMI, the dreaded EMI (early mrityu ka inam) every month, at a pre-determined date, he mortgages his “saat baara” his beloved field, his 7/12, to village credit society, because there he will get loan at a lesser interest rate, and may get government subsidy too if he is lucky, but if he does not belong to that particular political party which runs the patpedhi or credit society then it will be difficult for him to get desired loan. He will be given bogus reasons like, your land
mass is too small, you will get only 3500 for it under the new reserve bank rule, etc. now he thinks that, for 3500 why should i lick the feet of these bastards, again he approaches one close friend or relative and takes loan of Rs.25000/- to 30000/- from some bigger co-operative bank. where he actually gets only Rs.22000 against 25000 loan after some un-explainable deductions, and bribe to the branch agent.

Again, at one point of time, he fails to pay the dreaded EMI, and lives in constant fear that the bank officials will come and grab his land, to overcome the situation he goes back and approaches the original money lander who is there, very much there, to help him and wait patiently for his meat.

The government tells him to not pay the money lenders, but here comes our culture, the person who is hardly educated, hardly studied up to 4th std. thinks that how can he do so, he must pay back what he has taken. and if I can not pay back then…….it is better to die.

……….and he becomes a small figure in state and central government statistics.

Has anybody got the solution.

Maldives, a heaven in Indian Ocean

Maldives, Thomson Holidays.

Sprinkled in the middle of the Indian Ocean, these paradise islands are
palm-fringed gems lying in turquoise lagoons of the most incredible blue you”ve ever seen. Entirely circled by two large atolls, the majority of the islands are barely higher than two metres, and from the surface are no more than mounds of pure white sand, covered with dense tropical vegetation interspersed with characteristic, towering coconut palms. Their lagoons are crystal clear, enclosed by coral house reefs teeming with life and exotic corals - in fact the marine life is extraordinary.

The islands” popularity with scuba divers and snorkellers is legendary and for those who have never dived, this is the perfect opportunity to learn - the waters are warm, the sun always shines and there are plenty of resorts with their own fully-equipped diving schools.

Of the 12,000 islands, about one in ten of them are inhabited and less then half of them have any tourism development; of those that do, there is room for no more than one hotel - in fact the capital, Male, occupies one island, the airport another! The resort islands are worlds in themselves. Some of the larger ones offer several different restaurants featuring local and continental cuisine along
with exotic buffets and barbecues. Since fish and coconuts are the only
items that don”t have to be imported, they find their way onto most
menus and spinybacked lobster is a particular delicacy.

The Maldives are highly recommended for those who wish to do absolutely nothing and it would be difficult to find a more beautiful place to relax than a typical Maldives beach…peaceful, uncrowded, with pure, soft sand of an almost dazzling whiteness. Needless to say the majority of the more strenuous activities are sea based. Watersports equipment is always available and
most resorts offer windsurfing, catamaran sailing, water-skiing and
canoeing. You”ll find the nearest thing to sightseeing is a leisurely
trip in a local boat known as a dhoni, in search of an even more
perfect beach or picnic spot. Clearly the essentials for a Maldives
holiday are a good supply of books, a generous supply of sun cream and a burning desire to do as little as possible

My prediction: Modi will have land slide victory.

I predict Land Slide Victory for Modi.

The Hindutva poster boy, the BJP poster boy, and the man with a chest of 56″. Modi. will have atleast 125 seats in Gujarat.
This is my prediction.

No. this is not based on any exit poll, or any jyotish prediction. but pure analysis.

He will win, because,

a. Manmohan had said a few days back that Minorities (read Muslims) should have first right on the resources of India.

b.the Congress had given a theory of KHAM, Kshatriya, Harijan, Adivasi
and Muslim, and they are still following that theory, but they have
forgotten one thing, All Kshatriya and most of the Harijan and Adivasis
are with Modi now. They have prospered under him and they do not want
to go back to the Congress fold.

c. Bengal Chief Minister, under his own compulsion, has questioned Ram.
The very existence of Ram. He has helped Modi in Gujarat.

d.If you go through all the communal riots in Gujarat since 1972, you
will come to know that most of them occurred in the Congress rule,
because the Congress supported people like Abdul Latif. who was
captured and killed by Geeta Johri, under Modi.

e. Modi has developed a special kind of raputation with the people of
Gujarat. You either hate him or you love him, but no one can ignore him.

f.Ground reality is very different from what TOI or other English media
presents to us. I have seen personally by visiting more then 45% of
constituency in Gujarat and every one is just ready to vote for Modi on
the D-day.

my conclusion,

Modi will win this election. Modi is the future of Gujarat and India.

I would advise all Modi haters and rivals to prepare a speech for 23 December.

Save Budhhist World heritage in Swat, Pakistan

Swat region inside Pakistan is considered as Switzerland of Pakistan and a tourist jewel, is under Taliban rule right now. I want to remind the world that Taliban destroyed world heritage of the largest Budhha statues while the world watched in horror.
Swat has been inhabited for over two thousand years and was known in ancient times as Udyana. The first inhabitants were settled in well-planned towns. The independent monarchs of this region came under Achaemenid influence, before reverting back to local control in the 4th century BC. In 327 BC, Alexander the Great fought his way to Udegram and Barikot. In Greek accounts these towns have been identified as Ora and Bazira. By 305 BC, the region became a part of the Mauryan Empire.
Around the 2nd century BC, the area was occupied by Buddhists, the Indo-Greeks, and the Kushans who were attracted by the peace and serenity of the land. Swat is thought to be the probable birthplace of Vajrayana Buddhism. There are many archaeological sites in the district, and Buddhist relics are common, testimony to their skills as sculptors and architects.
The Swat museum has the footprints of the Buddha, which were found in the Swat valley and can now be seen in the Swat museum. When the Buddha died, His relics (or ashes) were distributed to seven kings, who built stupas over them for veneration..

The Harmarajika stupa (Taxila) and Butkarha (Swat) stupa at Jamal Garha were among the earliest stupas of Gandhara. These had been erected on the orders of king Ashoka and contained the real relics of the Buddha.

The Gandhara school is probably credited with the first representation of the Buddha in human form, the portrayal of Buddha in his human shape, rather than shown as a symbol.

As Buddhist art developed and spread outside India, the styles
developed here were imitated. For example, in China the Gandhara style was imitated in images made of bronze, with a gradual change in the features of these images. Swat, the land of romance and beauty, is celebrated throughout the world as the holy land of Buddhist learning and piety. Swat acquired fame as a place of Buddhist pilgrimage.

Buddhist tradition holds that the Buddha himself came to Swat during his last reincarnation as the Guatama Buddha and preached to the people here.

It is said that the Swat was filled with fourteen hundred imposing and beautiful stupas and monasteries, which housed as many as 6,000 gold images of the Buddhist pantheon for worship and education. There are now more than 400 Buddhist sites covering and area of 160 km in Swat valley only. Among the important Buddhist excavation in Swat an important one is Butkarha-I, containing the original relics of the Buddha

Now Swat is under Talibanic forces, all these heritage are sure to become their target, as they are short sighted, fanatics of Islam. USA must help Pakistan at this stage to save Swat in NWFP, which is much inside Pakistan and nowhere near Afghan border, from going to Taliban and Pakistan government should be pressurised by India, USA and other democratic country from world over to save these heritage at ANY cost.

I do not know if India”s weak foreign policy will be able to execute the required pressure.
