This is one more reason why we have to thank God for the food that we can have easily.

But in the otherhand….ironicly, we still waste the food that we buy

I feel very GRATEFUL for what I have today…….
We are so blessed for the wonderful works of God’s hand in our life today, just think of this…………..


“I felt very fortunate to live in this part of the world. I promise I will never waste my food no matter how bad it can taste and how full I may be. I promise not to waste water. I pray that this little boy be alleviated from his suffering.



I pray that we will be more sensitive towards the suffering in the world around us and not be blinded by our own selfish nature and interests. I hope this picture will always serve as a reminder to us about how fortunate we are and that we must never ever take things for granted.


In our life we are the one who are going to define our happiness,love,lavishness everything..Initially a child who used to play with small things,,when it was young..starts cultivating a behaviour that only costly toys can make us happy..Is it really so..

WE are gifted people,,we have everything to be happy..we have loving parents,,quality education,,health.the small thing which we have forgotten is to be happy with what we have..

Lets define our happiness a lowerlimit..So that we can be happy all the time..

There is a legend which says that long ago there lived three fair young women in a royal palace..

They were in a wonderful garden.One morning,there arose the question as to who had the most beautiful hands in the world?

Eleanor,who had given a slight colouring to her white fingers while gathering juicy strawberries,thought that her hands were the most beautiful.

Antoinette had been among the fragrant roses and had taken their tiny drops of sweet moisture-she thought her hands were the loveliest.

Joon had dipped her pretty fingers in the clear waters of the stream and like the clear diamond sparkled her long thin fingers.She thought her hands were the most beautiful.

Just then there came a beggar girl who asked for alms.But the royal maidens turned her away.The beggar girl passed on to a cottage nearby.A woman with toil-stained hands gave her some bread.The beggar girl was immediately turned in to angel of exceptional beauty.She appeared at the garden gate saying,”THE MOST BEAUTIFUL HANDS ARE THOSE WHICH ARE READY TO HELP OTHERS”..

Nice story…I really liked it..I had this story in my 3rd std moral science…I am really surprised that now a days we are beyond science and money than morals..Our education system wants as to be money minded rather than being kind hearted..

All of us here are fond of three things..
1.to love and to be loved by someone..
2.If not lavishness,atleast a considerable life where in all our requirements need to be fullfilled..
3.Appreciation and recognition..

Have we became quite self centered now a days..I dont know..But sounds as if it is true..How can our priority change after we grow up for our partners rather than our parents…Our parents who loved us,took care of,,if not they love u the way other parents love there children,atleast they gave birth to u,,made u responsible,made u realize what life is,,dont shut ur doors when they require u?please dont send them to old age homes..Love them the way they took care of u,when u were young..

And secondly respect the food u eat,,there are thousands of people who dont even get there basic necessary things..When we respect our food we are respecting those farmers,,

One day an acquaintance met the great philosopher chanakya and said,
“Do u know what i just heard about your friend?”

“Hold on a minute”,chanakya replied.”Before telling me anything i would like you to pass a little test.It is called the triple filter test”.

“Triple filter?”

“That is right”,chanakya continued,”Before you talk to me about my
friend,it might be a good idea to take a moment and filter what you are going to say.That is why i call it the triple filter test.The
first filter is “Truth”.Have you made absolutely certain that what you are about to tell is true?.

“No”,the man said,”Actually i just heard about it”.

“All right”,said chanakya.”so you dont really know if it is true or not.Now let us try the second filter,the filter of ‘Goodness’.Is
what you are about to tell me about my friend something good?”

“No,on the contrary……”

“so”,chanakya continued,”you want to tell me something bad about him but you are not certain it is true.You may still pass,the test
because there is one filter left;the filter of ‘usefulness’.Is what you want to tell me about my friend going to be useful to me?”.

“no,not really”.

“Well”,concluded chanakya,”If what you want to tell me is neither true nor good nor even useful,why tell it to me at all?”.

ONCE THERE WERE THREE TREES ON A HILL..THEY OFTEN DISCUSSED THEIR HOPES AND DREAMS..THE FIRST TREE SAID “SOMEDAY I HOPE TO BE A TREASURE NEST..I COULD BE FILLED WITH GOLD,SILVER AND PRECIOUS GEMS..I COULD BE DECORATED WITH INTRICATE CARVING AND EVERYONE WOULD SEE MY BEAUTY..

THE SECOND TREE SAID “SOME DAY I WILL BE A MIGHTY SHIP AND I WILL TAKE KINGS AND QUEENS ACROSS THE WATERS AND SAIL TO THE CORNERS OF THE WORLD..EVERYONE WILL FEEL SAFE DURING THE JOURNEY BECAUSE OF MY STRENGHT”.

THE THIRD TREE SAID,”I WANT TO GROW TO BE THE TALLEST AND STRAIGHTEST TREE IN THE FOREST..POPLE WILL SEE ME ON TOP OF THE HILL AND WILL THINK HOW CLOSE I AM TO GOD AND THE HEAVENS.I WILL BE THE GREATEST TREE OF ALL TIME AND PEOPLE WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER ME”..

A FEW YEARS LATER,A GROUP OF WOODMEN CAME UPON THE TREES..LOOKING AT THE FIRST TREE,ONE WOODSMAN SAID,”THIS LOOKS LIKE A STRONG TREE,I THINK I SHOULD BE ABLE TO SELL THE WOOD TO A CARPENTER”AND HE BEGAN CUTTING IT DOWN.THE TREE WAS HAPPY,BECAUSE HE KNEW THAT CARPENTER WOULD MAKE HIM IN TO A TREASURE..

AT THE SECOND TREE THE WOODSMAN SAID,”THIS LOOKS LIKE A STRONG TREE..I SHOULD BE ABLE TO SELL IT TO THE SHIPYARD”.THE SECOND TREE WAS HAPPY BECAUSE HE KNEW HE WAS ON HIS WAY TO BECOMING A MIGHTY SHIP.

WHEN THE WOODSMEN CAME UPON THE THIRD TREE,THE TREE WAS DISMAYED BECAUSE IF THEY CUT HIM DOWN,HE WOULD NEVER REALISE HIS DREAM.THE WOODSMEN SAID”I DONT NEED ANYTHING SPECIAL,SO I’II TAKE THIS ONE;AND HE CUT IT DOWN..

FROM THE FIRST TREE,THE CARPENTER MADE A FEED BOX FOR ANIMALS WHICH WAS PLACED IN A BARN AND FILLED WITH HAY.THE SECOND TREE WAS USED TO MAKE A SMALL FISHING BOAT.HIS DREAMS OF BEING A MIGHTY SHIP SHATTERED IMMEDIATELY.THE THIRD TREE WAS CUT IN TO LARGE PIECES AND STORED IN A DARK PLACE.

YEARS WENT BY AND THE TREES FORGOT ABOUT THEIR DREAMS.THEN ONE DAY,
A NAB AND A WOMAN CAME TO THE BARN.THE WOMAN GAVE BIRTH AND THEY PLACED THE BABY ON THE HAY IN THE FEED BOX MADE FROM THE FIRST TREE WHICH THEY FOUND IN THE MANGER.THE TREE REALISED HE WAS CRADLING THE GREATEST TREASURE OF ALL TIME.

YEARS LATER,A GROUP OF MEN LET OFF IN THE FISHING BOAT MADE FROM THE SECOND TREE.ONE OF THEM WAS TIRED AND FEEL ASLEEP.SOON A GREAT STORM AROSE AND THE TREE DIDNT THINK IT WAS STRONG ENOUGH TO KEEP THE MEN SAFE.THE MEN ROUSED THE SLEEPING MAN AWAKE AND HE STOOD UP AND SAID “PEACE” AND THE STORM STOPPED.THE SECOND TREE(NOW A BOAT)KNEW NOW THAT HE HAD CARRIED THE KING OF KINGS ACROSS THE WATERS.

FINALLY,SOME ONE CAME AND GOT THE THIRD TREE.IT WAS CARRIED THROUGH THE STREETS AND PEOPLE MOCKED AT THE MAN WHO WAS CARRYING IT.WHEN THEY STOPPED,THE WAS NAILED TO THE TREE(NOW SHAPED LIKE A CROSS) AND WAS RAISED IN THE AIR TO DIE AT THE TOP OF A HILL..THE THIRD TREE CAME TO REALISE THAT IT WAS STRONG ENOUGH TO STAND AT THE TOP OF THE HILL AND WAS GOD AS WAS POSSIBLE BECAUSE JESUS HAD BEEN CRUCIFIED ON IT..

SO WHEN THINGS DONT SEEM TO BE GOING YOUR WAY,ALWAYS KNOW THAT GOD HAS A PLAN FOR YOU.IF YOU PLACE YOUR TRUST IN HIM,HE WILL GIVE YOU GREAT GIFTS..

EACH OF THE TREES GOT WHAT THEY WANTED,THOUGH NOT IN THE WAY THEY HAD IMAGINED..WE DONT ALWAYS KNOW WHAT GOD’S PLANS ARE FOR US..EVEN IF HIS WAYS ARE NOT OUR WAYS,THEY ARE ALWAYS THE BEST…
