Indian Premier League, IPL Match Review for March 25

The
Season 2010 Indian Premier League (or IPL 3) Is the third edition of
this competition Cricket format Twenty20 Organized by Federation of
Indian cricket (BCCI). A phase consists of the eight championship
franchises in the league and the top four teams qualify for the
semifinals. The two winners qualify for the finals while for the first
time; a “small final” stands between the two losing teams. A total of
sixty meetings take place between March 12 and April 25.

The 2010
season of the IPL marks the return of the competition on the Indian
soil, the competition of having to relocate South Africa in 2009.

Royal
Challengers Bangalore v Delhi Daredevils, 4 PM, M Chinnaswamy Stadium,
Bengaluru

Can the Delhi
Daredevils win or is it the Bangalore Royal Challengers who will dare to
steal the crown tonight? We have witnessed the game of the Delhi
Daredevils before, but can this IPL game tonight become the night of the
Bangalore Royal Challengers?

Daredevils. Delhi Daredevils won by 17 runs

Delhi was
desperately looking for the victory after losing their last three
encounters and so they have completed it in style.

Bangalore
gone well with Kallis (Orange cap holder) and Pandey but Kallis couldn’t
continue his great form as Amit Mishra picked him up on 24. Manish
Pandey who started well but departed at 39.

Lot of expectation
with Robin Uthappa but he also loosed his wicket, he tried to reverse
sweep Amit Mishra but the ball kissed the upper part of his gloves and
went to Captain Dinesh Kathik keeping gloves.

Rahul Dravid run
out for 1. Eion Morgan and Virat Kohli tried to build a partnership but
nothing happens after Morgan was run out.

Mark Boucher found
Virendar Sehwag in mid wicket as he tried to play the pull shot of
Sangwan’s ball.

“AB De Villiers took a brilliant acrobatic catch”
Best moment of the day when Praveen Kumar tried to clear long on off
Umesh Yadav’s ball but AB De Villiers took a brilliant catch.

Virat
Kohli who remained unbeaten on 38 off 23 balls as Bangalore finished
their innings on 166/9 after 20 overs.

Finally, Delhi has won their 3rd match of IPL 3 by 17 runs after
it drive out the table topper RCB.

Mumbai Indians v
Chennai Super Kings, 8 PM, CCI, Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai

This night will be a heated battle between
the Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians. The cricket matches of the
Mumbai Indians were impressive, but the Chennai Super Kings can’t be
ignored as well. We’ll see which of the two will preserve their honored
dignified victory.

wickets.

Suresh Raina (83 Runs off 52 Balls)
and S Badrinath (55 Runs off 45 Balls) shared 142-run partnership, the
second highest stand in IPL. Raina reached his fifty of 32 balls, while
Badri got to his half-century off 41 balls Helped Chennai Super Kings to
reached 180 total.

Twenty20
is supposed to be a youngster’s game, but Sachin Tendulkar is proving
that wrong. Just a month shy of his 37th birthday. The master blaster
continued his amazing batsman ship, mixing caution and aggression with
grace as the others simply rallied around him to enjoy the party.

Sachin
Tendulkar and Shikar Dhawan hammered half-centuries as the Mumbai
Indians secured a comfortable five-wicket home victory over the Chennai
Super Kings.

Shikhar Dhawan’s slammed L Balaji for two sixes over
mid-wicket and fine leg and soon reverse swept Jakati for four and
top-class effort of 56 off 34 balls is his fifth IPL fifty.

Sachin’s
yet another display of sheer timing, placement and power as the Mumbai
Indians skipper shaped the victory, scoring 72 runs off 52 balls (8×4,
1×6), his big shot being the six off Muralitharan over long-on and is
his highest in Twenty20 and his eighth fifty.

Sachin Tendulkar
lifted the Mumbai Indians to the top of the Indian Premier League with a
brilliant innings in a five-wicket win over Chennai Super Kings.
