Sexual activity between individuals is a cycle with four stages:
* Peak excitation
These stages describe the reactions of people during the sexual
function. There are no distinct boundaries between them and vary
depending on the individual but also time.
desire: Caused by physical irritation and is characterized by
gathering a large amount of blood to the genitals and breasts in women.
For women the first sign of sexual stimulation is the appearance of
vaginal fluid, from 10 to 30 seconds after the onset of sexual desire.
The density, amount and odor of vaginal fluids vary from one woman to
another, but the same woman from time to time. The amount of vaginal
fluids, in contrast to the perception of many is not necessarily
indicative of the level of arousal of women, nor does their presence
mean that the woman is ready for sexual intercourse. Their presence
facilitates simply inserting the penis into the vagina.
In men, the main indicator of sexual stimulation is erection of the
penis, just a few seconds after the presence of sexual desire. During
erection large amount of blood is concentrated along the penis, which
causes and rectification. Despite the perceptions of many, there is the
penis bone or muscle strength. An erection is not necessarily coupled
with sexual desire. May have occurred under other circumstances, such as
fatigue, anxiety, or when the man is quite comfortable.
Peak arousal: It is the stage following the sexual desire and is
characterized by escalating the sexual tension can be short or long
before someone reach the levels needed to achieve orgasm. There
accelerated heart rate, respiration rate and increased pressure
animates. Sex irritation at this stage is growing. The duration of
stimulation varies from person to person, depending on the time. Men who
ejaculates easily reach this stage can be very short. In some women
this stage can be very short and proceeded by an intense orgasm.
At the peak of arousal in women there is an organic step, i.e. the
narrowing of the opening of the vagina in approximately 30%. So the
penis somehow captured inside. This is why penis size does not play such
an important role for natural stimulation a woman. During the period of
stimulation, the production of cervical fluid is slowed down, the
uterus is pushed up the clitoris swells and the areas of women’s breasts
For men, during induction, the diameter of the head of the penis swells
more, and testes at a rate of 20-50% more than the rest. It is possible
at this stage, small amounts of liquid to clean out of the male urethra,
which may include sperm. Therefore, semen does not mean that eliminated
only during ejaculation.
Orgasm: It is the third and usually the smaller stage in the cycle of
sexual act. During the whole body participates in a sudden discharge of
accumulated sexual tension. Organic, orgasm usually lasts a few seconds
and is considered the ultimate stage of pleasure.
Once thought that women never reached orgasm. Today, it is understood
that an orgasm for just the two sheets. The squirting is characterized
by simultaneous muscle contractions of the uterus to the outside of the
vagina and the anal sphincter. During that contractions are reduced in
intensity and rhythm. A mild orgasm may have 3-5 contractions only,
whereas an intense orgasm can cause a series of intense and pleasant
feelings, which run from the clitoris and spread to the pelvis. The
majority of women do not ejaculate during orgasm.
The masculine orgasm occurs in two distinct stages. In the first stage,
beginning a series of contractions that push the sperm to the urethra
and the man feels inevitable process of ejaculation. The second stage is
the removal of sperm from the urethra. There are sharp contractions in
muscles of the body and the penis. Gradually, the intervals between
contractions grow and the intensity decreases. The climax does not
necessarily mean ejaculation. This can happen to boys who have not yet
entered puberty, and certain diseases or taking drugs.
Relaxation: It is the last stage in the sexual process. Here’s orgasm
and the body returns to rest.
This stage differs significantly between men and women. Women can have
consecutive orgasms especially when you masturbate, without exhaustion
multiple orgasms. In contrast, men are capable of multiple orgasms.
Immediately after ejaculation, the man goes into a dormant state. The
partial or total irritation but can be maintained, but usually
disappears quickly. This phase can last for men, a few minutes to
several hours. If during this time, a new exuberance, the inactivity
period is longer. Finally, the period of inactivity is higher over the
