Raj Thakre Arrested.
Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray was arrested at Ratnagiri in the wee hours of Tuesday for Sunday’s brutal attack on North Indian rail exam candidates by MNS workers.
A case was registered in this connection against Thackeray and his supporters at the North-West suburban police station of Kharwadi, after MNS workers attacked 13 railway board examination centres in suburban Mumbai to protest against “inadequate representation” to locals.
In another case a Non bailable warrant is received by Mumbai Police from Jamshedpur Court for his derrogatory remark against Bihari.

This Consequence was Bound to come. Raj Thakre and his MNS worker thinks Mumbai and Maharashtra is the property of Thakre’s and MNS then it is the proof of their empty mind. MNS should think million times to act upon the wordings of Raj Thakre.

while ppl were beaten up in mumbai, a lot of coverage was given by the hindi media to the outrage and rightly so. all the hind politicians made their protests (and typically bihari style too - hand raj thakre!). of course the great cause of ”we all are indians” was invoked.
but if they truly belive in what they preach, then how come NONE of the above even mention / cover the FACT that for the railway posts situated in maharashtra, WHY NO ADVTS WERE PUBLISHED IN MARATHI / MAHARASHTRA BASED NEWS PAPERS? is the issue not relevant or important? are maharashtrains NOT indians? their sons and daughters DON”T need jobs? unless u cover this aspect and ask laloo for a serious answer instead of more popular inanities, ur article remains biased. pls understand that such biase attitude by north indians makes it difficult for marathis to support their cause. if they have to chose between a bullshitting laloo and a bullshitting raj, they will chose raj.
we are sick of the Thakerays- Bal, Uddhav, Raj and the Amar Singhs, congressis who let Afzal live- the syndrome is “Kill India” in anyway. If you look deeper, you would know that our founding fathers themselves are to blame- reservation, linguistic states, article 370 everything that has been done by these people is wrong, and yet we celebrate a Chacha and a Father’’s birthday year after year… neither do I condone the Babri Masjid Demolition gang- they are equally in the divisive process!
As PM Professional points out, stances such as these , taken apparently to safeguard the interestds of the populace of particular demographical regions is first and foremost anti -constitutional. Besides, as you say in your post, it can have far reaching implications that would impose on business, supply of essential items including foodgrains and medicines and many other areas. Raj Thackeray and his ilk are being extremely short-sighted and extremely selfish in raising such issues for strengthening their vote-banks.
Right, urgent and necessary action taken by Maharashtra administration. They performed their duty appropriately. They are welcome.
India is one and every one can go, reside, do business and perform activity in the whole of India. Raj Thakre and MNS worder needs to read Constitution of India.
