Hi, I think you had missed this, it is a good collection:

No comments means I agreed to whatever you said; otherwise of course I would have said something… I checked again. The two posts were about the poor and struggling. I agree with both of your comments. Previous one was about the fact that everyone lives throught the troubled times; after that about - the dream chasers - it was about the fact that the poor have to take risks not as a change/adventure but as a way of life - in order to survive…

Why surprised? There was no issue… I agreed to you 100%, so I would not have replied…

    Regards,
    Rahul

Yes, I had got the previous message.. Sorry for inconvenience. I had put the GB on moderation becaucase of many reasons including that I was planning to be on the iland less frequently :) And do that for your next picture post, you can load as many pictures as you want in a single post, it will take only 2 minutes per picture to finish the process… It will be great. I thought of this suggestion much late, but joked that I didn’t tell you because :) Your recent poem was lovely, and so much rahul-like :)) Have a great day!

:) Ek hi post me multiple pictures post karna sikhaun kya? Pahle kyon nahi bataya? Aise hi pareshan karne ke lie :) Agar ati hai apko to apke garden wale iland par woh use karna achchha hota, taki agar koi pahli baar iland par ata to flowers wale iland ke saath great articles wale posts bhi dekh pata… Picasaweb.com par pictures load karke embed link use karein, iland ke new post me right hand side me embed widgets ka ek link hota hai, use use karke same post me multiple pictures post kar sakti hain… :)

    hi swati
felt nice to read what you wrote….
thanks for reading my random thoughts!!!

No, I didnt mean to say that for editing. It happens in case of deleting the post and reposting. Some times we do that. And in this case each posting sends one intimation. So when I got 3 emailed intimation with the same blog post name, at first I thought you had deleted 2 earlier posts and reposted… But then I thought ‘you’ won’t do that, so checked earlier posts and found 2 more posts in the same name.

Rediff is smart. It choses our blog titles to be included in the URL also, but when 3 posts had the same blog title, they appeared as:

    http://beyondroutine.rediffiland.com/blogs/2009/01/14/Flowers-from-my-garden-2.html, http://beyond…….. Flowers-from-my-garden-1.html and http://beyond…..Flowers-from-my-garden.html: three different URLs.

But my confusion was about if people would open three diff intimations with the same post title or not…. Let us see….

    Rahul

Hi Swati, I wish you A Very Happy and Prosperous New Year - 2009, I pray to God Almighty that all your wishes are fulfilled and to grant you good health, trouble free and peaceful year ahead.

  12. Think Tank says

Hey, nothing wrong. I didn’t think that you are calling it bad. No confusions please. I got it as you were saying that the literary abilities of the bloggers there are much better than here, right? I don’t think there is any problem in saying this because it is true :) There are some fabulous blogs there, wholely and only “literature” kind of, no pictures, no good morning, happy diwali posts kind of… am I right?

  13. Think Tank says

:) True :) I had realized that somewhere. But as we all know, iland rocks not because of the literary skills and the authors but because of the ‘people’. On this front I think no other platform is comparable to the iland, right? Once a very good blogger moved from iland to some other site and I stopped reading him. Only because the convenience of ‘connection’ on the iland is unique. Plus I don’t have much time, have already been trying to cut the online time since long :) So it won’t be possible to be on multiple sites as of now. Plus, I don’t read much blogs, I like to read books instead. On iland I read people because we are friends here, each one is part of the other’s virtual presence. I don’t know if I had seen your blog there, but if the same posts are here, I would continue here only :)

    Have a wonderful day!
    Rahul

  14. Think Tank says

hahahah :) Yes, earlier I was in college, now at home. Until iland is opened, place and time doesn’t matter :) Now I know there is a small gap between passion and addiction.. :) Now going offline :)

    Regards,
    Rahul

  15. Dhrubo says

Swati Thank you for your visit to my to my blog. Please keep coming.

  16. Think Tank says

    hahaha :) Thanks a lot…

Yes, you are very right, I also believe that. It is impossible for a nation of our size and wealth of economy to avoid terror attacks by monitoring alone… This is why everyone wanted a permanent solution, but governmetns and politicians want problems to continue, so that they can emotionally blackmail us into voting for them again and again. Plus, it is so easy and natural for Govt to wake up now, when people were really fed up. But when the 2nd or the 3rd blasts happened, maybe in Jaipur or Delhi, the same Home Minister and the PM were sleeping and were taking it easy by giving speech therapy to the public… Their recent attempts to do something is also because the assembly elections were round the corner and they felt threatened with BJP targetting them of being weak. But they will again go back to their non-caring attitude towards the public.

But one thing I agree with you 100%: people are more aware now, are fully awake and are driving t change.

Hi, Swati, Thanks for Your GB entry . Yes that is what I greed with you in my comment on your Blog ! “Old Age Homes” are a must for changing scenario! But these must be regulated & some sort of checks must be brought in legally, so that Senior Citizens are not exploited by unscrupulous people !

Personally, I will never allow my Mom to ever go to an “Old Age Home”…! It will be a shame on me bing her son! A Mother’s Love & “Matra Rin” can nort be repaid in one’s life time!

Thanks for reminding :) I feel that I had seen it when you had written it but took it as a story I had read earlier: the story which tells that we all love coffee in the most beautiful cups and avoid slightly less better looking cups, forgetting that it is the coffee that matters, not the cups :) But anyways, I would have read it some day or the other :)

    10 minutes before August arrives…

what is right for me may be wrong for the person who is on the wrong side of the fence .

  31. subhashish chakraborty says

my comment was basically on the whole issue .
about the children and teaching them what is good or bad , u r absolutely right .

but about the whole question of what is right and wrong ………. there is a confusion which i mentioned ……which still stands
