During Diwali, a lot of cruelty takes place
Knowingly and unknowingly… at the hands of children and adults
Bursting of crackers and bombs at all hours -
Disturbing elderly humans, is just the tip of the iceberg.
Tying lit crackers to the tails of cute little puppies
Before setting them alight is harsh fact - not mere fiction
Putting tiny puppies and teensy kittens into gunny bags
And bursting loud bombs close to them is a fact too.
I am sure most of us would not be party to such inhuman games
But … please let us not be mute spectators too
If any of you see cruelty of this kind happening in your neighborhood
PLEASE intervene… to prevent lifelong trauma and even save lives.

True, and Insightful… to quote an oft repeated line from previous PETA/SPCA ads.. ”Animals are people too”
I know it very well….my puppy wud go hide itself under d bed when it hears d sound of crackers and my heart goes out to it.
you bet i will. cruelty to animals is the worst kind of sadism. How can one even think of causing harm to a defenceless being is beyond me.
i have seen awe in their eyes, why can”t we share the world with them as equals.
i think its later but i read ur blog today
its absolutly right
ya… yu said it! the way ppl tie those knots at dog’’s tail, it kills me, it really does.
