This tiny, furry, ‘hyper’ bundle of sheer joy

makes me, so much, my time at home enjoy

fiery red all over, with some patchy white color

thick furred Squirru is indeed a proud mother.

I thought a perfectly apt name for it was Laloo

becuz it looked to me like a cute lil boy kittoo

but now that its grown big enuff to.. ahem.. see

its clear as the sky that it needs to be called Laali.

Laali plays all day with poor Squirru’s bushy tail

and when she hides it, Laali lets out a loud wail

she even dares to spar with Sleepy Jack’s nose

and to this, the gentle dog, his eyes does close.

Laali isn’t scared at all of the cat family outside

big and small, all of them she takes turns to ride

and on Friday, when I reach home she trots along

to ask me plaintively where i’d been all week long!
