This is an automatic mechanical watch. To initially start your watch, swing it from side to side in a horizontal arc for about 30 seconds. This Seiko Diver men’s diver’s watch combines environmentally friendly technology, with a rugged and stylish design. The 20-millimeter-wide bracelet with a fold-over safety clasp transitions smoothly into the classic round 37-millimeter case, both of which are constructed of stainless steel with a bright, polished silver finish. The watch, once initially wound, is designed to keep its’ mainspring sufficiently wound from the normal movement of the arm, wrist and hands that a human being makes on a daily basis.

The Bezel is a turning dial on the face of the Seiko dive watch used for keeping up with how long you have been submerged underwater. This part of the watch needs to be precise, clearly able to be seen and undoubtedly legible even in the murkiest of water.  Most Seiko diving watches have illuminated hands that are particularly vivid and visible in dark or hazy water. A good watch is key gear for diving protection. The hands and markers on dial and bezel are luminous and glow in night. It is an analog watch with 3 hands hour hand, minute hand and second hand. A day and date window is at 3 o’clock position. The bezel is circular of steel with gear like structure. Bezel is Unidirectional and used to measure Elapsed time during diving (Up to 60 minutes). Dial is circular in blue color with bold hands and dotted hour markers. The crown is at 3 o’clock position and protected by extended lugs to remove accidental movement of crown. One quarter of bezel is in red color while other is in blue color. This watch is water resistant to 100 meters (330 feet).

There is a countdown timer- The countdown timer can be set within a range of one minute to 60 minutes. An alarm sounds when the countdown reaches zero. The countdown timer also has an auto-repeat feature and a progress beeper that signals the progress of the countdown.  The watch beeps at various times during a countdown status without looking at the display.
