SATISFIED

Your adrenalin starts to pump

As you push off down the hill…

 And with your hand, you adjust the stump

As you begin rolling the oily mill.

You carefully manoevere to avoid the hump

And try in vain to hold back still

In the rush of blood, you feel a lump

Down your throat, as you begin the Kill…

You raise your head to check for signals

And feel the depth for all the signs

You open your mouth to gasp for breath

And rubber yourself to grip the handle…

The sweat and the wetness invite you….,

Your nerves are alert

Your mind seems numb…But

 In complete control you dare to plunge in

To cut the swollen mound….Sliceeeeee

And tearrrrr …..and riiiiiiip the tunnel of ice

In…. one fulllll circle

 Build in quantums… and explodeeee..

into one resounding heightened thrill…

Your heated blood and warm skin

Make insignificant the cold air tint…

Your pumping heart

Your pumping veins

Your throbbing muscles

And the freeze cold air…

Your whole body shivers

In spasms of ecstacy

Rippling down your spine

Your mind is in a coma…

You make your moves

You make your moves

Then as you reach the bottom

You loosen out…into the valley

Twist and turn and wriggle

And… take the last curve out…

You catch your breath

And gain control

Your heart rate settles

As You steer gently… to the finish…

You wipe your goggles

Loosen your helmet

And take off your gloves

It felt soooooooooooo good !!!…

Then you break into this one big smile

Completely satisfied

Completely satisfied

It is a wholesome feeling of victory

as you slowly turn around…

With the ski poles by your side….

It never felt THIS GOOOOOOD!!!

You just conquered the swiss Alps..
