Hi Aria so you have been dealt a double whammy - one with iland idiosyncrasy and the other by Array - I wrote to iland folks about both and never hear back from them - guess they don’t care. But please don’t go - stay on - take care
no Aria…i doubt there is anything like popular or unpopular ilanders……one look at the ones that have been shifted and the ones that have not…shd tell u that…i think they are doing it in phases….also experimenting looks like……and what is this abt keeping in touch personally with the shifted ones…no such thing has happened…..in fact even to get to my own blog-page i have to sign in to my rediffmail first, then click on one of those msgs that says…moderate comments, which r for the most part spam….and my friends list seems to be entirely deleted for the present at least….i hope they can retrieve that….no notifications therefore of any of my posts neither of my friends…..

Of course calamities happen only with you. Hence you keep on crying on the iland.
I Agree with you….u r correct everybody has a freedom to stay with what he/she believes and nobody here got the power to impose his/her ideology on others………..and I hope this time your sabbatical ergo ..would be just a sabbath( a day of rest only) and not an ergo………….

Hey, I did not in any way imply it’s good to be old. I just narrated Old Abboud’s views, from a book I read, in far antiquity, about the Sufis. In some ways he is right, in the sense that a time comes when all one wishes is to be left alone and let others carry the yoke of life.
I am not old, not young either and certainly not in the twilight zone. While I empathize with Abboud, I still am not afraid of mistakes. Lord knows, my whole life is full of mistakes. But mark this, dear Aria, She Whom I Have Not Seen, some I regret and would, if I could, undo … others? … let sleeping dogs lie.
The whole point, I suppose pointlessness, is to caution all you youngsters, the paths are always un-paved … don’t fall into a hole in the road.
