Good Bye 2009

2009, is going away
And I am glad, it has finally passed.
A year it has been, about which I don’t like a thing
Since, so many things were taken away.
A friendship I lost of someone very close
Whom I held dear and close to my heart.
I smiled, because of a friend whom I had
Though, that too is no more.
So, I thank god this year is over
As I have lost a lot, and have turned empty
To actually have nothing, but my lonely self.
2009, is going away, and I am glad the suffering is over
Since, the past was all I had, till now.
Year is ending and the memories are fading too.
