” Priyatam, tu meri hala hai,
mai tera pyasa pyala,
apne ko mujhme bharkar tu,
banta hai, peenewala
Mai tujhko chak chalka karta,
mast mujhe pee tu hota;
Ek doosre ko hum dono
aaj paraspar madhushala “
My logic for loving you (if it requires one)
” Aaj mila avsar, tab phir kyon
mai na chakhu jee bhar hala,
aaj mila mauka, tab phir kyun
dhaal na lu jee bhar pyala,
Ched chad apne saaki se
aaj na kyun jee bhar kar lu,
Ek baar hi to milni hai
jeevan ki yeh madhushala “
Our situation
“ Dekh raha hoon apne aage
kab se manik - si hala,
dekh raha hoon apne aage
kab se kanchan ka pyala,
“Bas ab paaya !” keh keh
kab se daud raha iske peeche,
Kintu rahi hai duur kshitij-si
mujhse meri madhushala “
Your overtures for me …
” “Aa aage” kehkar kar peeche
kar leti saaki bala,
honth lagane ko kehkar har
baar hata leti pyala;
Nahin mujhe malum kahan tak
yeh mujhko le jayegi
Badha - badhakar mujhko aage,
peeche hathti madhushala “
… But offcourse i understand your reasons
” Dene ko jo mujhe kaha tha
de na saki mujhko hala,
dene ko jo mujhe kaha tha
de na saki mujhko pyala;
Samajh manuj ki durbalta mai
kaha nahi kuch bhi karta,
Kintu swayam hi dekh mujhe ab
sharma jaati madhushala! “
What i expect from you
” Nahin chahta, aage bhadkar
cheenu auro ka pyala
nahin chahta, dhakka dekar
cheenu auro ka pyala,
Saaki, meri aur na dekho,
mujhko tanik malaal nahi;
Itna hi kya kam hai, aakhon se
dekh raha hoon madhushala! “
My luck
” Mile na par lalcha-lalcha kyun
aakul larti hai hala,
mile na par tarsa-tarsakar
kyun tadpata hai pyala,
Hai, niyati ki visham lekhi
mastak par yeh khod gayi -
“Duur rahegi madhu ki dhaara,
paas rahegi madhushala!” “
How i think it will end (And i dread it every moment)
” Ek samay santusht bahut tha
pa mai thodi-si hala,
bhola sa tha mera saaki,
chhota sa mera pyala;
Chhote se is jag ki mere
swarg balaye leta tha,
Vistut jag mai, hai, gayi kho
meri nanhi madhushala! “

You have taken a lot of trouble compiling this post it seems, but I can never read hindi poetry. Partucularly HB. I think he is grossly over rated. Like SRK is a highly over rated actor!! Of course it’’s my personal view and should not matter to anyone else.
i think..i”ve read it earlier too…but may b…that time..i was…too ung..to understand..the meaning…though still m able to comprehend it partially…but the underlying message…is beautifully conveyed……about ur n mine relation….n its future……!!
