Hi Naina,
Today, I read your comments on Ramnath Jayam’s post and the memory of your meanigful writeups struck me. There’s been no post from you for the last more than six months. Of course, after the change in Rediff, many friends have moved on to other sites. I still continue to write here sometimes, hoping that good sense would prevail over the Rediff people and they’d restore the unique features of the old iLand.// Pl. read some of my posts and offer your views.
For regrouping the Rediff bloggers, a new group Rediff iLand has been start at Face Book by some friends.
Affectionately,
Hari Om
Success is like tip of the tail !!!
If cat runs to catch the tail.
It has to keep running forever.
But if it walks in its own style.
Tail follows!!
Live life with your own rules….
coming back from where?
haha good luck to you my friend!… guess there are more on the boat than just one
Success lies not in the result but in the effort…
“Being” the Best is not at all important;
“Doing” the Best is all that matters…..
Keep a smile on your face all the time … Good day !!!!.
Happiness is not having what you want, but wanting what you already have… keep smiling and have a nice day !!!
In the rhythm of life, we sometime find ourselves out of tune, but as long as there are friends to provide the melody, the music plays on… thnx for the friendship we share … keep smiling … have a nice time..

hi.. naina! i want be your friend.
Thanks for your very nice compliment for my poem, Naina.
As for a long life: Everybody has their own private mythology. The myth that most people like to believe in — including 80- and 90-year-olds — is that they will live till a distant future that they can’t see. And then one morning, life proves them wrong.
My belief that I have less than a thousand days to live may prove to be a myth… or a reality. Either way, this belief helps me to live more sensibly, and prioritize the things that are REALLY important.
Warmly,
krish
A quote ….”In this world people will always throw stones in the path of ur success,
it depends on youWhat you make from them..
a wall
or
a bridge”…..
waise when i told this quote to one of my friend she said at once that her choice will be pretty simple .. she said “main to patthar utha utha kar waapas maarungi taaki pata to lage pathar phekne waalon ko ki pathar lagne par kaisa lagta hai” ….. lol..
Adarnyia Didi ko Saadar Charan Sparsh
(O) Hugs and really I am honored Didi. Aap ne aab dekha! Is mein mera kaya Kasoor ? Wonder! Should have checked my More Vibrant and well read WP. But in any case not only here at iland but there too at WP you have and shall always be my favorite not because you are my Didi alone, but for being what you are. I wont say that as you said, even though I don’t see eye to eye with you on many issues. NOPE. Allow me to say it has nothing to do with your personal self or mine for that matter, of course allow me to ask, when did we see two siblings not disagreeing on a point or two? Disagreement per say is no issue. Rather it is healthy and democratic and I am all to encourage Debate and Discussion. And finally Didi mere badappan nahin meri khush nassebi aap ka pyaar mila or Bhagwaan se prathana hai milta rahe Hamesha
aap ka Chotta Bhai,
anil.
Just an after-thought. U write so well Naina. And when u said in ur comment, “what say Akshay Sarin?”, I cudn”t help thinking, “Uh oh, yeh mai kis se panga le baitha? Ladki kaafi tez lagti hai. (Just kidding!) :))
U r so right Naina. I do agree with u, and I did agree with u even before u posted ur comment in reply to mine. Only it didnot come across that way coz my focus shifted to that small minority of people that may have no option but to go in for help. Changing collective consciousness of society is not an easy thing to achieve but ofcourse that does not mean we shouldn”t try. And I do not know how much of a fad this has become but to me having an absolute waif-like anorexic figure is not important at all. But then, we seem to pick all our values and fads from the west, esp. the US, and not all that we choose is necessarily good for us. The culture of rampant smoking and drugs at call centres is one such example.
ok, yes
I was only proving my good memory
I think I suggested you one thing a long time back: something on intution… Have read so much about women’s intution
and yes, they are more right than misplaced…. But to write on that is difficult… Should we trust our intution, how far can we base our actions on them, these can be some themes… I will suggest you something when I get some…
Naina?
