CCIE CCNA Training Institute - ACIT Mumbai teaches wrong VPN
Site-to-Site VPN example by ACIT faculty
This
was demonstrated by ACIT faculty to CCNA Security batch. I questioned,
“Why routing protocol was run on edge routers and private networks were
added to it?” He replied, “Once the R & S guys configure the routers
so the networks are reachable, then only the security guys would
configure secure IPSec VPN.
Another VPN example referred as VPN-A

In
the second example, there are no routing protocols running on edge
routers. Network professionals are requested to compare & comment on
the post and send your opinions.
- Which method is correct?
1. or 2. or both or none of these
Note:
- Only the route configuration issue of concern has been highlighted i.e. whether static or dynamic route should be added
- Rest
of the configuration i.e. IKE Phase I & II (ISAKMP, IPSec,
Transform-Set, Crypto Map, Access-List etc.) have not been mentioned
- A link to the packet tracer file and startup-config files will be published tomorrow
I
shall write more on this after receiving comments on this post, at http://solidusin.wordpress.com .

CCNA, CCIE Training ACIT Mumbai - A fraud institute, Cisco Partner, CCNP Security, CCSP, Cisco Certification
I had come to ACIT Mumbai after I was assured of a job there and an
accommodation arrangement. After my arrival here on March 13th the scene
was entirely different. I was asked to pay the full fees which was
earlier negotiated to be adjusted from salary. Fees for CCNA Security +
CCSP + CCIE Security was negotiated for Rs.78000/-, Out of which I had
paid Rs.5000/- from Delhi, prior to leaving for Mumbai. They had made
false commitments. On March 14th when CCNA Security was scheduled to
start, I was asked to pay the balance fees Rs.73000/-. Without paying
that I could not attend the batch. I had no other choice since I had
come for my objective to become CCIE.
I paid Nabeela Rs.30000/- in cash. It was negotiated with Nabeela
and Yasmine that I shall pay 15000/- more in a couple of days and the
balance 28000/- by March 28th. She herself took me to the class after I
paid Rs.30000/- on March 14th. On March 17th I paid another Rs.1000/- in
morning to Uma, and Rs.5000/- in afternoon the same day.
By the completion of CCNA Security batch which finished on March
18th I learned that Mr. Shahid, the faculty was not at all competent. He
does not have good knowledge. He neither has the ability to deliver a
lecture which students can understand nor can he deliver the
presentation for practical deployment. ACIT has no methodology and
approach to the training. They did not ensure a systematic approach to
conform whether the faculty has been teaching properly, whether the
students are receiving quality training. I had also submitted my
feedback to ACIT that there should be a disciplined approach of
training, in house tests and checking by 3 different personnel i.e.
faculty, examiner and checker.
ACIT paid no heed to my positive feedback. They took no action on
improving the training standards. So I conveyed my decision on not
joining CCSP batch which was scheduled to start on March 21st, without
measures of improvement. I was informed that the next batch would start
only in May.All this time I had repeatedly asking for the receipt of
payments (Rs.50000/-) I had made. She had been lingering on by assuring
of issuing receipt today & tomorrow. I smelt a rat and finally I
asked for payment receipt on March 24th. I conveyed them that I shall be
discontinuing the training at ACIT and I asked for a refund. At this
stage Nabeela said that the payment receipt is issued only after the
full payment and that the payment can not be refunded.
This was surprising that ACIT has their unlawful rules. The amount
which had been paid did not deserve a payment receipt. This was clearly a
sign of their intentions of fucking up my hard-earned money. At this
juncture I had to raise a voice. After some argument, she prepared a
payment receipt on letter-head. I asked for another declaration that i
had attended CCNA Security batch and discontinued further training which
I was denied again. The matter became serious and Mr. Rohit’s father
intervened and deceitfully took receipt from me and handed it over to
Yasmine whcih she tore off. He told me of issuing a fresh payment
receipt and declaration next day.
I went to the lab and discussed the same with some other students.
By then Yasmine came to the lab and asked me to leave the lab since I
had quit ACIT. I again asked for the payment receipt which she had torn
off. An argument started and then I was called by Rohit’s father. He
started threatening me. I had been pleading join-handedly that I am poor
guy, asked him to be kind on me and refund for my money. The cruel man
had no pity on me. Yasmine started raising false charges of woman
harassment on me. The goons took me to the frontdesk area and trapped me
their by closing the main door from inside. Yasmine Neha, Nabeela,
Rohit and his father all were there. Yasmine had been shouting in fit of
rage, saying, “he insulted me. He tried to come closer to me. I shall
give him another slap. I shall break this bottle over his head… blah
… blah”. Their body language, gestures and talking was as if they are
all set to beat me up
I had no person in my support. The most frightening was the false
allegation of woman harassment. I had to defend myself and to take a
safe exit first. So I did not respond to Yasmine and all those folks.
At
last, Rohit’s father took me to his cabin and asked me to leave
immediately, vacate the accommodation and go without the refund of my
payment. I pleaded once again but the goon was not at all moved. I left
the place and I was on road with my luggage. I lost all the money I had
saved from my previous job income, only for my further education. I was
shattered.
Now I want to do something for sure to get my refund and to ensure that no other student becomes victim to the ACIT goons….

Dear Friends,For long, Google has been showing wrong map of India.
Wrong map is shown on many Google Applications i.e. Google Maps, Google insight etc. The snapshot shown above is taken from google insight. In-spite of many requests and notifications for attention to the concerned Google Authorities, sent by Indians, Google has paid no heed to it. I also had sent a notification and requested the attention of Google authorities but…
विनय न मानहि जलधि जड़, गए तीन दिन बीति
बोले राम सकोप तब, भय बिनु होइ न प्रीति
(Laaton ke bhoot baaton se nahin manate)
I shall publish more information on my blog, so please keep watch over my blog. I am not giving address here…
many of My blogs can be found in first 10-20 results by searching
Satyamev Jayate on any search engine
Our impotent and coward authorities do not
have the courage to speak against it. They claim to be the 1st or 2nd
fastest growing economy yet… India is still begging for a seat in
UNSC.

(lines between ******** were inserted later).
Showing wrong map is a criminal offense, even an Indian may be prosecuted and punished if found guilty. Then, if a foreign company, doing business in India, commits the same offense, shouldn’t it be punished?
It is high time that all of us must react and oppose to it.

Do Not buy HP printers
The customer is not provided with the correct customer care number, neither on
the product box nor on warranty manuals, nor on the website. India office numbers
are either found busy or nobody will bother to answer customers’ calls.
The toll free numbers mostly keep chanting,
“Our support options have changed. Please listen carefully. For damn HP
notebooks dial 1. For damn HP printers dial 2. For damn HP proliant servers
dial 3” etc. Then refer the customer to another TOLL FREE NUMBER and hangup.
The customer dials another number and the
customer would listen another chanting and then some executive would suggest
you to dial another TOLL FREE NUMBER which is always found only beeping (like
it was busy).
While writing this review, I was speaking to
HP customer care executive would clearly say, “You can do whatever you want”
With
new HP printer you get INTRODUCTORY INK CARTRIDGES which
print less than 50 pages
Then you need to buy a new cartridge which will cost you Rs.800/-
The cartridge becomes empty after printing 200 pages in fast draft (economy mode)
That means printing cost Rs.4 per A4 Size Paper
The ink quantity per cartridge not mentioned (
3ML apx.)
Cost of Black
Ink
Rs.1,60,000/-
PER LITER
COSTILER THAN THE MOST
EXPENSIVE LIFE SAVING DRUGS / VACCINES / INJECTIONS / MEDICINES
HP bribed concerned ministers and obtained license to loot
people of India
matter being published across internet, on various message boards, blogs & forums

Though
Legislature, Executive, Judiciary & Press are considered as 4
pillars but I (personally) strongly disagree with that. For, Public is not taken in consideration as a
pillar. A democracy can never be successful if public does not entertain (FRANCHISE) it. That’s why the other 4 are trembling without it’s support. And that,
Judiciary can’t be part of it…
For Law is Above All !
From my perspective, The four pillars have a sensitive, crucial,
responsible & dutiful role in a healthy democracy. All begin with ‘P’, and what are those?:
- Politics
- Press
- Police (consider including executive)
- Public
They together constitute democracy but the astonishing facts are :
- All these 4 Ps are no friends to each other
- No P of these 4 trusts the other
- Some of these Ps have a well formed nexus to crush or harass the other P or Ps
- 3rd P is not occupying suitable place
- 2nd P is deceitfully occupying this position
- 4th P is always pathetic and awkward at that position
- 4th P retains most of the 3 Ps - Power, Potential & Patience
- 4th P has the ability to completely reform the other 3Ps which take the top positions above it
The times are changing…
The Wheel of Creation Moves and takes its own course
The 2nd P will be the first to be rewarded with a suitable P
The 1st P will be the 2nd to be rewarded with a suitable P
The 3rd P will make a choice of Friends & Foes
The 3rd P will also make a choice - Perform or Perish
The 4th P still has some hopes on 3rd P
Guess! Which P am I?
Anyways, if any of the other 3 Ps feels enraged…
The other P or Ps may feel free to harass or crush me!
But my 6th Sense says this is going to happen

Ref: [HIDDEN]
To
[HIDDEN]
Respected Sir,
I humbly request for your kind attention with reference to the email and the attached document I had sent on July 29 and was assigned the reference number 1669/E-mail dated 30/07/2008.
I am only a common citizen but being an experienced IT professional and having a good command over network security, I take it as my duty to submit my suggestions for the attention of concerned authorities. Though I assume there are highly experts constantly on duty at the intelligence and various other departments, yet I feel some of my humble suggestions may prove to be useful in intelligence and combating terrorism.
The terror group involved in the recent blasts had been sending emails by exploiting Wi-Fi connections of others. They have been able to do so because of the negligence by ISPs and ignorance of internet users.
Un-Protected ADSL & Wi-Fi Modems
Almost all ISPs (including AirTel, MTNL & BSNL) provide the ADSL Modem to the users with security configured as the factory settings. All such modems are supplied with a common username and password i.e. Username ' admin, Password ' admin or Username ' admin, Password ' password etc. This poses a serious threat not only to the security of the subscriber's private network but to the national security as well which is indeed of great concern.
An article published on security of Wi-Fi, in HT on page 3 dated Sep 18, is a good initiative though, it is not complete and sufficient. It is not practical and feasible for a user to keep a watch over un-authorised usage. It does not make any difference whether a connection is configured as "On demand" or "Always On". In fact, even if the connection is set to "On Demand" then, in case the user connects in the morning and stays connected for the whole day, cracker may gain un-authorised access by detecting the IP address and the default login for router control panel.
A skilled IT professional can easily crack and exploit the entire network of an internet subscriber if one manages to find an un-protected ADSL modem
Security Policy
Windows default installation is not at all secured. Common Anti-Virus software and firewalls are not fully reliable solutions. Highly secured firewall systems are only used by large corporate offices and networks. Small offices and home users must take support from a well qualified service engineers. IPSec Policy, Group Policy, User Level & File Level security must be put in effect
Tracking emails
1. Before an email is received by anyone, it is sent by someone and usually there is an interval of around 15 minutes between the time of sending and receiving.
2. Before an email is sent, an account is created on the website of a free email service provider i.e. Yahoo. Again, there is usually an interval of around 5-15 minutes between the time when these two actions are carried out
3. This time can be crucial in tracking the origin of emails if prior information could be received in time from the email service provider i.e. Yahoo, the moment when an account is created
4. The terrorist is unlikely to use the email account for second time. Once an email is sent, they will never logon to that account again.
5. In addition, there is also every possibility that they regularly create new email accounts for their internal communications too.
6. It is estimated that the number of new email accounts which are created by general public from a particular major city, in a single day, may not be above 1000. That means we need to screen 1000 email accounts in 24 hours (1440) minutes which is not a difficult task provided we obtain account information from Yahoo, Gmail, MSN etc in time
7. If we screen every such new email accounts properly, it may help us in tracking suspicious email accounts and its origin
8. So, it is very important to obtain prior information on email accounts instantly when an account is created. ISPs' assistance in tracking access to the "Sign Up" page of Yahoo website which means, information would be available even before an account is created
Points to Ponder
Since, these serial blasts are carried out in a series, by a specific group Indian Mujahiddeen, modus operandi being the same, there are some important points
1. During the first serial blast, the terror group sent an email prior to the first bomb went off
2. In the second case, the email was sent a little later
3. In the 3rd case the email was sent even later
4. If they succeed in carrying out another blast, email will be sent even later
5. Is it so that the terror group is assessing the time what a state police and bomb disposal squad takes in detection and diffusion of the bombs?
6. Is it a part of an exercise by the terrorists by which they are preparing to successfully fleeing the city after planting the bombs within the given time, before the cops and bomb disposal squad comes in action?
7. Is it their plan to carry out a massive high intensity blasts after these low intensity blasts so far?
8. Isn't the terror group misleading our intelligence by marking the bombs with a number? They might be convincing us to trust their numbering patterns so they could plant more bombs than we believe. The terrorists may also mark the bombs with common numbers
9. The next targeted time would be close to the festivals
They have declared that Mumbai is their next target. I suspect that this time it might be their plan to carry out a massive terror attack at the economy hub of the country which is already fighting high inflation and heading the next parliamentary election. It is also to be noticed that the attacks are carried out since India signed up nuclear pacts and strengthened its relations with US.
Alert notifications for general public
The slogans like "Look beneath your seat" and "An un-occupied article could be a bomb" should be made more elaborate, for the flowing reasons:
In a crowded bus or train where the travelers can't even look beyond the legs of the fellow passengers, it is not feasible for the passengers to look below their own seats
It would be more convenient for the passengers to keep a watch below others' seats
Passengers must keep vigil on the number of articles others boarding or de-boarding the train / bus. People need to ensure that a passenger disembarks with all the articles he / she owns
An un-occupied article is never labeled as "Un-Occupied" so people in a crowded place will hardly notice such article.
It may be a good idea if travelers are asked to stick a photocopy of the owners photograph / ID proof, on the article or over its packaging. Such a photocopy will cost only Re 1/- per article and it would be easier for the policemen checking the articles.
Sincerely
Ashok Khurana

It happened the same as was already suspected. The above feedback was sent on September 18th 2008, 2 months before the attack.

What I had kept a secret for almost a year, I feel should be disclosed and be made known to the people of India. For, the concerned authorities, the corrupt politicians & the worst kind of governance seems not at all bothered about the security & growth of The Nation.
26/11 Mumbai Terror attack could have been averted. I had provided some feedback on the basis of my own fact findings almost 2 months prior to it i.e. in the mid of Sep. 2008.
I shall disclose more on this very soon… but only on my new blog. Kindly be patient!

High Alert!
For long many of us have noticed numerous websites which lure people of some huge lottery or prize winning notification / huge fund transfer / tax refund etc.
Recently, a few more websites have come to my notice i.e.
microsoftcareers.com
itril.com
relianceinfosoft.com
Such fraudsters are also sending SMS to jobseekers inviting them for online interview…
Do not even visit these websites if your computers are not properly secured, since these websites may also infect your computer with viruses or spyware.
Our policy makers are completely absent minded, inactive, corrupt & not at all concerned about the nation and people of India
Our security & investigation agencies, judicial authorities, police department are not privileged with enough power to do something at concrete level in such matters. So they are helpless.
So, the people of India must be aware and need to act on their own and in presence of mind.
For any assistance, I shall be happily available. Email : solidus@rediffmail.com
