ON THE GAS PEDAL

ON THE GAS PEDAL!!

We are shining. I consider myself to be lucky for not one but many reasons. To start with , I got see the millennium which an individual can see with a probability of 0.1% to occur in lifetime

Second, which makes me happy to be a lucky Indian are the prosperity and growth rates. Look at it , its just pushing harder and harder coming close to a two digit figure. Just like Michael Schumacher keeps setting the fastest lap after lap, Indians are letting their horses loose. We have come across the terms M&A`s,FDI`s,FII`s , its all happening here. The property market is soaring, nevertheless people are buying flats worth 25 crores. The sensex seems like its coupled with the boosters from NASA, its benchmarking new heights.

So, Indians have shown that yes we too have accelerators and they WORK. But that question which is biting me is, whether all that speed is a sign of major crash? I question whether we are in the right direction with the right speed?

To answer that I have to rope in few experts from the industry and market. Mr. P. Chidambaram is juggling all those figures to maintain the right balance and posture.

The mergers and acquisitions by Indian companies have marked a global presence and it wont be too far when companies like Tata and Infosys will be just as recognizable as Microsoft or Sony. In just 45 days of this year , we witnessed deals worth $40 billion.

It is expected that more such deals will cross the $100 billion mark this year

So people rejoice! Its India shining, yes "We are shining"

where is the big D

Where is the big D??

Well most of you must be thinking about the big D who is in Dubai or somehwere else on this planet in his cozy abode. For most of you,the big D is hiding “underground”.But thats not what im talking about.I mean the Big D in DEMOCRACY.And ,if you again think that that too is “underground”,then probably your answer is right.”Democracy is a form of governance which is run by the people, of the people and for the people”,said by the great Abraham Lincoln, the president of USA.

I know what are you thinking right now as you read this, hmm,Politicians! isnt it? Well any layman, neophtye (like me) reading this would perhaps agree with me that what politicians are doing is piling up stacks of money(of course ,they earn to make a living afterall)and they prefer hogging on democracy,(which is their favourite meal) alongwith jeopardizing trust of people, promising to do “work” for people as side orders.Since quite a few years,we have came across bans. One of the “work” they do is to impose a ban, thus again enjoying a huge chunk of democracy.Do we have a choice? Our politicians have to be like this?

Now a days they have decided to promote themselves in new ways.for example, a politician in our area got the repair job done for a small road which is not more than 50 metres. As soon as the work was acomplished, a small pillar designed with granite, had the politicians name engraved in it at the corner of the street. What a shame.Being a nagarsevak, its your duty to get that work done, but they show it that they walked that extra mile and the “kaarya kartas” blow it over proportion by displaying posters, publishing in the news papers of their grreat deed.Do they even have a miniscule idea, what they are doing?

Another thing is out of my bounds of expanantion, why do all the political leaders have to be rich?Does Charisma, ability to influence no longer play a characteristic role in leader?or is the saying very true that “paisa bolta hai”?I have marked one more thing, the person, who affiliates himself or herself to a political party, somehow gets better and better financially.Chakkar kya hai?

All i want to say is ,is there any politician existing who is truly working for restoring democracy in the country or will we continue to live in a Banned state?
