Hi friends… Its been some time since I posted something. Was really busy these days. Thank you all for the support provided..
Here I go…
Ask anyone about Onam or the best Onam they ever had.. Mostly the reply will be having the smell of nostalgia and the answer would be ' "Those good old days when I was a kid." There will be lot of reasons to support the reply.. The joy of togetherness in the family as all the family members who used to be away also will come home to celebrate.. The fun time had with friends and cousins.. The excitement of having a break from studies.. And those days will be really colorful and of-coarse the smell of new dress.. The list in memory book varies according to the age group of the person. For a person in his/her eighties, there will be more to tell than a person in fifties. If someone asks me the same question, I'd say every Onam was the best for me.
Turning back the pages of memories, Onam, Christmas and Summer Vacation, all had the same color and flavor for me. Coz I studied in a boarding school and those were the times I visit my home. It's like getting a parole from prison. But what fun is there when all your friends are not present..(They also go home..
) Any way those 10 days used to fly very fast with some time spend with mom and dad, some mischief planned and executed with my bro and hugs from my granny :D. The concept of Onam is people to remain happy. If I say that the best Onam was when I was a kid. It also silently says that, I am not that happy now. Even the most memorable day in your life was a normal day when you lived it.. So I prefer to live in the present.. And like to add this Onam also to be in the list of the best Onams I had. This year I will not be able to join my family.. I have to work.. as there is no Holiday for Onam.. and no leaves available. I hope to make it a memorable one with my friends. Wish all of you to have a Happy and prosperous Onam.. Instead of thinking of old Onams you had.. Try to make this one a memorable one
Have a nice time.. ENJOY!!!

same to u…..
Happy Onam. Man, I feel kinda nostalgic. Onam only comes around once a year, and here I am, stuck behind my desk, whittling away my time wondering how I can get out to find an Onasadhya around here.
Right now, I”m stuck in my office, wondering how, if at all, I can sneak out to some restaurant serving onasadhya. Not easy. I”m the only Keralite in office, and as far as I know, there are no good mallu restaurants within 3-4 kms of office. How I long for some paayasam right about now.
HAPPY ONAM TO U AND UR BRO MOM-DAD- GRANNY!!!!!!!!!
