Good thoughts for Independence Day. I”d like to add a few comments too: Although we attained independence in 1947, our laws are still geared to maintaining a colonial government, and the British have been replaced by a ruling class, some of whoom, unfortunately, have criminal antecedents!
Let us strive to make our laws less colonial, and to make India, not just ”Hindustan” but a paradise for people of all castes and religions.
