All that u say is so true, and we realise this usually in mid-life, adding to already existing problems. I think the best way out is to be true to one's dreams and not set too much store by "what others think". Tho' this is easier said than done, at least we'll have the joy of being true to ourselves. Yes, we do need money every day, from the moment we wake up but we should openly discuss priorities with our partners, allot our finances accordingly and learn to enjoy what we have. u r right, right from the time of admitting the child to K’garten, parents(majority, i guess) think of which school has the best results to lead to best college education(read engg/medicine +USA).
