How have you been Sarbo? Hope all your woes are dwindling with time or you are rising above them.
Umm.. being young and then old is inevitable so its better to look for ‘positives’ and be happy either ways. As for me I am incorrigible.. I am going to repeat the same mistakes even later in my life.. I feel quite old already but never too old for mistakes

No no no .. I wasn’t being sarky. I was only confessing that I write mainly to vent.
when I am bugged I wish to give someone a piece of my mind but there usually isn’t anyone to hear me so I write and complicate it even more with that ostentatious vocab.. if you know what mean!
in short I only intended to elaborate that I do not know the connection of chassis and stasis either .. it made sense to me when I wrote that but for the moment I am at loss ..
btw I respect that confession you made.. *grin* in fact I am honored..

You are right about stuff I write signifying nothing. I blabber a lot even otherwise (as in when I talk) and it often means nothing .. I guess I suffer from what they term - verbal diarrhea. hehhe ….

You are right, I should have been careful before copying that picture from internet. But I will leave it as it is because of one reason. Though the post is about women being mistreated, it is seeing women as women and not as Muslims or hindus. So religion and hence religious symbols are not of concern here. I hope this is ok. //

Yeah, that’s my real name:-)In arabic it means unique/incomparable ..a name that would be equally applicable to all of us..for aren’t we all unique in our different ways? That’s my daughter and son, when they were kids. Both grown up now.Daughter is married and settled in Bangalore. Son just started working after doing B.B.A. He is in Pune.

Thanks for your sympathize with me for my rib……….it’s a lot better now ( after 6 weeks) The troubles about your leg is much, much worse!!! My rib is a peanut ! ( maybe a fortune, that doctors cannot do anything with a rib, nature itself has to cure it with only time) I wish you much strenght!!!

Is the name important? Can you tell the real name of all others who write with pseudo names like Lissome Lady, etc?
If you are disputing this story, then you are calling the Bible false, as it is taken from Bible – the Old Testament. The story of David and Goliath is also briefly mentioned in Quran. David was future king of Israel and Goliath was a Philistine. (Of course there have been enough alterations in the original story, you can say to promote political agendas. But in general, we don’t dispute the core of the story)
You are focussing on geography and less on faith. As such, was there something called Christianity 5000 years ago? I don’t think so. The conflict between Israel and Philistine is truly represented in this story.
But I accept that the Christian Church used this story to further its own interests, to establish Christianity. They wanted to discredit the Jewish faith and used this incident as an establishment of their God’s will… They wanted to woo the Jews…
