permanently fixed in Turiya

            How we can enable our consciousness to be in permanently fixed in Turiya (the state of bliss)?

            We have seen different method of enabling our consciousness to become detach fromattachment, to the pleasure of gross sense organs, their essence, and stopping all thoughts to reach the stage of beyond mind.

            All these methods are proven and practiced by all the successfully enlightened
people, in the past and many of them are present in the world today.

            The basic requirement in all these methods is complete un-flinching faith,
dedication to the goal, purification of external and internal environments, perfection by performing them daily, practice these regularly to convert it to a habit, and then maturity will dawn automatically.

                        After understanding and accepting our true nature (love which can be defined as totality and pure essence of compassion) we need to practice this in every act of our life, by seeing only this in everything we interact with. Gradually as purification and perfection sets in, all miss concepts accumulated in our  memory is cleared. The intellectual act of consciousness reduces as confusion is removed.
            Now thoughts rising in the mind are fewer and pure with extremely high clarity. Theeffort put to understand things is less enabling the mind to be fresh andactive. This is noticed with the level of compassionate behavior with all we meet, most like minded people will enjoy our company as fear is removed, and this is due to the fact that confusion is lacking and unwanted behavior is reduced as anticipation and need for dominance has vanished. We gradually seeourselves in all and everything we interact with.

            Living harmoniously with nature we will raise above duality of, doer and the done, the observer and the observed, up to the ultimate extent of removing difference in all opposites of everything. Now the actions of doing and observing are not given any importance.   
                        What we mean by this is, simply oneness is found in everything, we no longer try to
see the advantages to self, as we loose interest in the fruits of action. Actually desire for achieving everything is lost, but the acts of daily life continue.
           
            YES there is a tendency to loose interest in action, which must be guarded against.
Performing the daily necessities should carry on and more importantly performance of all acts should be spontaneous. This can be done by internally considering that we and everything is one and externally do every act as if the universal self needs it. THESE CAN BE ENHANCED BY FIXING OUR GAZE AT THE CONJUNCTION OF ALL DUALITY THAT APPEARS BEFORE US.

             The conjunction of duality is explained or practiced by observing the stars that twinkle (become bright and fade) this phenomenon is due to the fact of light being, or having the characteristic of wave motion. The crests represents the bright and the troughs the darker part.

Gradually focus on the part when all light fades to darkness and particularly the moment when both are in equal intensity. We will see that at the exact moment when darkness part of the cycle is complete and brightness part of the has just begun, it will appear as if both are existing simultaneously. STAYING FOCUSED HERE and needs a great deal of practice and patience.

            This is the point (bindhu) we have so many times mentioned about in our previous articles. Kindly note that there are two conjunctions, the one which is as said above and the other when the bright part of the cycle starts to fade, this conjunction is a little difficult to observe in the beginning as the glow of reducing brightness will mask the increasing darkness, thus use the former.

            Alternately we can also use the breathing cycle as used by all beginners in learning the technique of pranayama (guided breathing), which goes through in the sequence of external kumbahka (lungs completely deflated with no in or out breathing), inhalation (in breathing starts), and internal kumbahka (no in or out breathing) and out breath (kumbahka is the interval or holding the breath at the two extremes).

            Thepoint or conjunction, bindhu here is the termination of in breath and startingof out breath, or termination of out breath and starting of in breath, we see that the first is inside the body at the lungs or heart chakra and the other is outside the body at a distance of 12 fingers distance from the tip of the nose.Both points will give us the benefit of concentrating on these points that are conjunctions of duality.       

            Gradually this kumbakhas duration will increase the heat produced will be the source for rising of the vapor in the (sushman nadi) Central channel as a upward flow of energy and open the crown chakra and let life exit from this body.

            Another alternately: -The morning and evening twilights at which night changes to day light or day changing to night is even easier to start with but the difficulty here is the duration of the twilight, as it enables drifting of consciousness to other thoughts.
            WE  recommend star gazing or breathing, and only after perfecting this meditation we progress to twilight observation and meditation. (Kindly note the previous art of meditation on rising and setting sun is totally different meditation use more to change the state of affairs by changing thoughts using sun raise and setting).
            Perfecting this is achieved as thoughts rising in the mind are reduced and ultimately stilled,
            YES, even the string of thoughts that are describing the vision inside the brain and mind which some of us term as subconscious. There is a chance of loosing consciousness as if dosing off to sleep, if this happens just know that it is normal and restart the session all over again. focusing our consciousness on the breathing can remove this from happening.
Advantages of this technique are as follows.

1)               It is avery easy method to train ourselves to go beyond duality.

2)              We experience the state beyond mind as soon as thoughts are stilled and
consciousness floats without any anchor experiencing freedom and lightness in
the entire body.

3)                 Memory of all pervious miss understanding accumulated in the memory are gradually ignored completely and purification of memory takes place but as soon as it is recalled the state is lost.

4)                 Reality of everything is experienced without the corruption of duality thus pure existence of being ness is possible.

5)                 Enables consciousness to expand by guiding it consciously.

6)               Experience of the entire reality is possible. This is experiencing the state "NOT POSSIBLE TO EXPRESS OR DISCRIBE IN WORDS OF ANY LANGAUGE".
7)              
360 degree vision can be observed, as feeling of observer and observed is lost.
8)               
Energy, the basic component of everything and its transformation into everything is understood easily.
9)               
Duality is perceived or understood as the pulsation of the energy which is the basic cause of everything.
10)            
We become aware that consciousness is this power of pulsating energy and as soon as it creates or differentiates the 5 powers that enable it to experience things awareness is achieved. This is consciousness diving or transforming itself
partially or temporarily into everything else by becoming the reflected part of
the things it comes into contact, this reflection although being inside it
(experienced inside the head in the beginning stages), it is perceived as if
out side it due to the habit developed, as soon as it develops the desire to
become it, as soon as it comes in contact with anything outside it. This desire
is the cause of creating mind field and the associated sense organs which
perceive these things and gives us a feeling of them being real.

11)             We become aware that sounds, words, their meaning was developed only to communicate with others and is not the real essence of things. Thoughts which are created to describe these things are only re playing stored definitions of things, replayed so many times (creates a habit) that they are considered real.
12)            
We develop a craving for this conjunction of duality and long for the twilight of end of creation and beginning of creation a state when everything will be at the state of oneness as the Supreme Being.

13)             Death no longer frightful, it is understood as a means to transcend from body awareness.

to spiritual awareness of soul or energy body.

The sacred books are the recorded instructions by enlightened masters to enable the seekers on the path to dissociate from the attachment of temporary pleasures of the gross sense organs and their essence. Tricks are suggested to enhance the process of spiritual awakening.

Religion, society, languages, different angles, objects and ways of worship are only the preliminary means of spiritual awakening, they can only lead to the goal but never can they enable us to merge in the supreme.

            A word of advice to all true seekers of bliss, kindly don't assign the experience to memory (this will require description of it in words), THE reason is MEMORY IS THE CAUSE OR ROOT OF ALL DESIRES. As this can get us trapped in craving for the experience repeatedly.
            This is the seed for re birth. Ego rises in the mind using memory. Only keep the information of conjunction of duality (the process) as the means or processof getting their.

        Being devoted to this truth birth after birth in any body we assume, cling to the fact of supreme oneness, by enquiringabout the true self in us we can attain self knowledge or knowledge of theself.

Pure consciousness is self luminous and it pulsates. All information, knowledge and wisdom are the cause of boundation, which is descriptive details of everything in the language we know, it is the reason for realness experienced.
