CA politics

CA stands for California, one of the largest states in the Western part of United States of America, in terms of geographical area. With a bustling capital city of Los Angeles, California is also among the most developed states in the country and has got a flourishing economy. But despite all these, the state often remains disturbed with complex political issues that make an impact, in most cases negative on its citizens. There are several issues that have remained unsolved over the 50-60 years. Governmentsb have changed according to the Constitiutional rules of the country, several governors have come and gone and innumerable measures have been promised by them to put an end to these political crisis but their has been no outcome.
Among the most noted political issue that often leads to agitations and revolts by people of different parts of the state is the water crisis. The state of California is broadly didvided into two parts Southern California and Northern California. Interestingly, majority of the state's population are inhabitants of the South while the maximum percentage of drinking and agricultural water is found in the Northern part. This makes the people of the Southern part complain against the uneven distribution of water. While they cry for the scarcity of water in their part, the people of Northern part try to justify their over availability by saying, the water is needed for agricultural production and the healthy environment of the state.

Unjustified price hike of land is another complex political issue in California. Price of land is on a continuous making it increasingly difficult for the middle class people to buy or develop residential properties. This price rise has led the people of the state to develop a habit of opposing selling of properties which is actually affecting the development of the state. The government here really struggle to take up project works.

Budget crisis has come up as another major political issue in California these days. Despite of its moderate population and abundance of wealth, the economy of California has not grown at the expected level, due to budget mismanagement. People of the state are fed up with the endless varieties of taxes that they are forced to pay to the governments for funds that are not that necessary. It was in the year 1999, that the state of California had seen a balanced budget. Right at this moment, majority of the Californians  are against the policies of Arnold Schwarzenegger, the governor of the state. People of California await the 2010 Governor election but there are only a few who are expecting miracles to happen.
