The other day I saw the movie ” The Bucket List” starring 2 great Hollywood actors Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman. It’s about 2 old men listing dowm their wishes / the things they want to do before they ” kick the bucket”. A movie worth watching. If not for the madness of Nicholson( whom I dont like much) then surely for the magical voice of Freeman. ( whose I am a fan)
Now let me also list down the things that I want to do before I kick the bucket. Another 30 years may be , if we go by the average age Indian mortality age. But still what the harm in listing down ” MY BUCKET LIST” so that I can start early and go on striking off as and when I happen to do one of the things on my list. And of course go on adding!
a) Travel every nook and corner on this Incredible India. Not the cities, but those quiet places /villages/small towns. Stay with local people / eat what they eat. Be a traveller rather than a tourist!
b)Own a small cosy house full of souvenirs on my trips.
c)Own a hi-fi Nikon SLR.
d)Have a book shelf full of books I enjoyed reading.
e)Have a small bar at home with choiceist of wines and wine glasses.
f)Own a SUV.
g)Go on camping and spend few nights staring up at the star studded sky.
i)Spend a month at a monastry just being with myself / cut off from the world.
Hmm..wishes, wishes and wishes. Looking at this it seems all you need is money and more money. Now thats even a bigger question. Where do I get so much money from?? Sigh!..
If wishes were horses…!!!
I love that list. Kinda matches mine. I wana do alll.. specially the F one rather despearately :=)
