SLUM DOG NOT ONLY BARKS IT BITES

Reality bites , the whole scenario changed within a matter of minutes , inside the auditorium the whole audience was portraying and enjoying oneself as a slumdog and waiting to be millionaire but as soon as they came out, the euphoria fizzed out, when they saw the real slumdogs selling roses or begging in front of them . real life overcame the reel life ….it is truth so it is bitter……….
The indian cinema is going through a phase where even the actors of big budget movies themselves appeal to the audience, keep ur brains out of cinema hall , what a remarkable statement danny boyle has made by showing the majority (indian directors) why brains are necessary to make a movie,boyle showed us an inseparable part of indian life, not to us only but to the whole world , why to be afraid of this part, it is an integral part of our society………..
from life to death the slum children are the most abused one , the most vulnerable one and just taken as a dog by our society , even dog can be fortunate to geat a meal or two but for them to expect this is a sin …………
even the main character jamaal , a slum boy when becomes a millionaire by sheer amount of torturous experiences he has gone through he is questioned how he, a rag pack can even dream of becoming rich …..this is a slap on our double standared society where only the rich get richer and the poor the poorest ………amitabh bachhan objected to such a portray he never objected when he essayed the similar kind of role in agnipath ,BIG B why object to such things when a foreigner shows to us ………………. question is not about how much oscars it is going to win or it doesnt, the importance is about the questions it has or the novel by vikas swarup (on which this movieis based ) has raised …………can we run from them, can we run from these slum children when we see thses little ones on traffic signals or clinging to our feet for some money , the mistake of taking birth for which they are not even responsible and will pay for this for the whole of their life …………lets hope even one of the slumchild can rise to become a millionaire but alas reality bytes, it happens only in reel life………………. gud work mr boyl at least
