Arthritis is a term that includes a group of disorders that affect
your joints and muscles. Arthritis
symptoms include joint pain, inflammation and limited movement
of joints. When a joint is inflamed it may be swollen, tender, warm to
the touch or red. Nearby each joint is a defensive capsule holding a
lubricate fluid to aid in motion. Cartilage, a slippery smooth
substance, covers most joints to assure an even, fluid motion of the
joint.
Inflammation is a response of
the body that causes swelling, redness, pain, and loss of motion in an
affected area. It is the major physical problem in the most serious
forms of arthritis. This disease may present itself in unlike forms.
When linked with too much toxins and present with swelling, local rise
of temperature, fever, heaviness and restricted movements, it usually
indicates, Rheumatoid
arthritis and is treated initially with dry heat, dry massage,
and medicine to correct digestion and improve mobility.
Arthritis
is most commonly known as a joint pain, and occurs mostly in the
hands, arms, and legs. Osteoarthritis is the most common type of
arthritis and usually affects people over 60 years of age. However,
arthritis can occur in people of all ages, as early as childhood.
