Why Hira? Why there is little amount of pessimism in your writings. The world is more or less what it has been since eternity. The world which looks pretty exiting for a 15 year old starts appearing grey to a 50 year old. It starts appearing scary,dreary and loathsome to chronically ill person. Beauty,charm,virtues and goodness have been the staple for mainstream humankind. Please read (1) Foundation of personality, available at guttenberg.org, (2) How to read faces( physiognomy)-by Mary Oswald Stanton (3)Emotional Intelligence,(4) Future shock by Alvin Tofler, (5) The story of Philosphy by Will Durant; and some psychology material,also available on Wikipedia. Hope, then you will be able to derive more rational conclusion. The virtues and vices has to stay together in the scheme of nature now think which is the weapon of strong and which is the weapon of weak. Ultimately which one prevails. I also suggest you read \”Aristotle\’ and \”Plato\” who are still fathers of social sciences.

this is something which was long over due from my side. Well, i wanted to thank you for all ur comments put-in on my blog and specially for the one u wrote on my first article. Infact ur’s is the first comment i had received on my iland (on my write up on Salam-e-ishq), and as u know the “first” is always special (like first love, first kiss, first job etc) .
Nice to know dat u also stay at Noida. Gr8. I am posted at Noida for the last 3 years and work for GAIL. What abt u ??

Thanx 4 ur comments. You wrote that I moved from winter to rainy season in d span of 1 stanza. Well, I have actually talked about the winter rainfall in my poem…those occasional, pleasant outbursts of the clouds which I find very pleasant.

Over the years, long,long years the study of stars, eclipses, dates etc. has thrown up voluminous knowledge n some people started discovering a design behind the sequence of cosmic events impinging on individuals born under varios zodiacal signs as per their dates of birth n the exact time of birth n made it into some sort of a structured n what they thought was a methodical n systematic study. They were wrong of course but the curiousity of man lent some type of sanctity n recognition to them n a lot of trash, superstition also got included, not that the rest was true or believable. But all this has to be discarded now.’
