I agree about segregation - it should not be encouraged and it should not be made a “policy” to introduce gender based seperate services everywhere. That would be a wrong trend. I think it helps in the short-term, but harms in the long term…
And yes, I now see your point about tax-payer’s money. Though I think the very poor Indians still don’t really pay income tax, most part of our population still goes by normal buses. Btw, BEST buses in Mumbai are still in very good condition, when compared to other cities. But they become too crowded and suffocating during peak hours and in rains. Leaving luxyry buses for pvt operations is a great idea; I never thought about that option. As such in Mumbai there are no private city bus operators as of now, but we can definitely think about it. Making the basic buses better would benefit many more.
And yes, we can’t say for sure the way dowry system would go. At present the system and customs are changing at a slow pace; we can hope for the better future. But I see many things changing in the way marriages are being done now a days, for freids. As such something should also be done for the expensive weddings. I remember your article about it too…

you said the same in different words… Today my friend Susanne and i discussed TEMPTATION in everything - i.e. human temptation - and it is - as it is - too many want more and more and more and greed spreads - money sets and minds are blinded - people blind-folded and life is like stumbling all along, because the real values are unseen - instead of finding balance in ourselves - Lao Tzu said: Be Content with what you have; rejoice in the way things are. When you realize there is nothing lacking, the whole world belongs to you.
oh - and yes - thank you for your light in your words - it shines along my path of life and illuminates me - especially the light of your heart and soul

How true, Ivee! Bad thoughts are indeed restrictive thoughts; they are generated due to limited inputs. They do not see the truth in totality. If my views and another person’s views on a particular subject are different, it simply means that our inputs are different; we’re not looking at the thing from the same angle ….and yes, it’s easier to be narrow minded because it’s easier to see the part than the whole view.

yes, you surely know what i mean. also the value of not throwing things on the floor in nature - but to carry the litter to the next waste place - so it is taken care of professionally 
all these things - INITIAL things - and of course SPIRITUALITY - that is a value which went forgotten - 
thank you for your valuable contribution - that is also belonging to values - 
thanking and asking nicely including “Please” 
and many times thanking GOD for what He does for us - that can be God Allmighty yet also other Gods - i cannot say that “GOD is the ONLY God” - 
that would already be ignorant 
it is arrogant to say: only we hv the “real” God - WHO REALLY KNOWS????? 
my opinion (and i am not alone with that) is - that we should change education - i.e. integration of values - to Earth - even “material” - i.e. the things we are given - like books etc… - and also values of “lives” - water, area, (avoiding pollution), animals, plants and humans of course
i hv posted something on prayer mudras, which i guess is’nt showing up on ur friend’s update……..wud value ur uptake on that,Mr. Chawla…. so kindly do visit…..
