You have given a nice coverage on IFFI 2005 at Goa. I have a personal comment on IFFI and it is that the Government should employ more nearby theatre for IFFI from Next year. They Should also give Priority to Film Schools and Institute of Journalism. People from Film Making Industry should Consider this as an Encouragement for Futuristic Film Makers and Also that they should organise few counters where one can Hand Over their Camera. They should also Arrange their Guest Presentation after the movie has been screened completely. Please publish this article and bring this issue to a notice.I wish that you publish this as well in your News Papers and Give back your official reply to me after you have published. Regards. Hope you do something about it. Nice content, however, the user interface isn’t user friendly, at times it

Comment on Guest Book by P Sam http://blogs.rediff.com/iffi/guestBook/comment-page-1/#comment-40 P Sam #comment-40 I just happened to stumble into this blog. The bit on governmentalism brought back many memories of IFFI -95. I would like to mention one. I was then part of a multimedia software products group. We had our stall at the venue where we interacted with many visitors during the festival. On one of the days, a VVIP entourage strolled in ( the then I&B minister's) and spread around the stall. The officials accompanying the minister would pose questions to us related to the various products and translate our replies (both in English) to the minister. At one stage the minister directly started interacting with us & I was getting engaged in a rather longish conversation. Seeing this, the officials with him tried to interrupt us. After some time he left, but some of the members of his group came back to warn me & the rest of us about not interacting directly with VVIPs. They seemed to be clearly angry. That was my first brush with officialdom at that level. I just happened to stumble into this blog. The bit on governmentalism

Comment on Mr Director? by karthik http://blogs.rediff.com/iffi/2005/12/04/mr-director/comment-page-1/#comment-4 karthik #comment-4 Dubai return incident was more disgustting ....after the movie started some of the delegates were assured to be let in . After halfn hr the organisers just asked the delegates to leave. Most disgusting thing was a lady reporter from a news channel asked her cameraman not to shoot the protest and blamed the delegates for creating the chaos. This is the second incident at IFFI that I've read where the crowd booed the latecoming stars (I think the first was Apaharan)... What!!! Just one scene of Zinda is from OldBoy???? Hell, now I have to work hard on finding where the rest of the scenes come from. Spent enough time writing about Zinda=Oldboy when I first saw the previews.... http://desitrain.blogspot.com/2005/11/korea-to-indiaold-boy-to-zinda.html Aditya’s incident was hilarious.
