YOUR FLUTE

July 12th, 2007

Your flute plays the exact notes of my pain.It toys with me.Where did you learn such stealth, such subtle wounding, Kan?
The arrows in my breast burn even in rain and wind.Wasted moments pulse around me.
Wishes and desires, departing happiness –Master,my soul scorches.I think you can see its heat in my eyes, its intensity and cruelty. So let me drown in the cool and consoling Yamuna,or slake my desire in your cool, consoling,changing-moon face.
It’s the face I’ll see in death. Here’s my wish and pledge;that that same moon will spill its white pollen down through the roof of flowers into the grove, where I’ll consecrate my life to it forever, and be its flute-breath, the perfume that hangs upon the air, making all the young girls melancholy.
That’s my prayer.
Oh, the two of you, way out of earshot. If you look back you’ll see me,Bhanu, warming herself at the week embers of the past.

Gathering of Lovers

July 7th, 2007

This is a gathering of Lovers.
In this gathering
there is no high, no low,
no smart, no ignorant,
no special assembly,
no grand discourse,
no proper schooling required.
There is no master,
no disciple.
This gathering is more like a drunken party,
full of tricksters, fools,
mad men and mad women.
This is a gathering of Lovers.
-RUMI

Dont get misled by the picture please.,,,,Rumi Jalaludin the sufi poet is talking about the world,i.e. the god’s creation?and human beings as a whole.

NONE IS A STRANGER TO ME.

July 6th, 2007

There is no one as cruel as love;
this malady no physician can cure.
There is no peace, not for a moment,
So intense is the pain of separation !
O Bullah, if the Lord were to shower His grace,my days would radically change! He left me, and himself he departed. What fault was there in me? I have got lost in the city of love,I am being cleansed, withdrawing myself from my head, hands and feet. I have got rid of my ego,and have attained my goal. Thus it has all ended well.
O Bullah, the Lord pervades both the worlds;None now appears a stranger to me.

~ BULLE SHAH (SUFI SAINT)

WORDS TO REMEMBER

July 3rd, 2007

1.) Just because someone doesn’t love you as you wish, it doesn’t mean that you are not loved buy his/her being.

2.) Don’t spend time with someone who doesn’t care spending it with you.

3.) Maybe God wants you to meet many wrong people before you meet the right one, so when this happens, you’ll be thankful.

4.) Don’t cry because it came to an end, smile because it happened.

5.) There will always be people who’ll hurt you, so you need to continue trusting, just be careful.

6.) Never stop smiling even if you are sad because someone might fall in love with your smile.

7.) Become a better person and be sure to know who you are before meeting someone new and hoping that person knows who you are.

IT’S FOR LOVE ONLY

July 2nd, 2007

To Love, you have to loose your head that is, loosing your thoughts. Your head is a collection of thoughts. Mind is nothing but a vast crowd of thoughts. And it is a very busy and active crowd indeed. Because of it your whole energy is wasted and you have no energy left for love. The head is an exploiter. It drains you to such an extent that the flow of energy is unable to reach the heart.
Ninety nine percent of your thoughts are useless; they have no substance. When you are sitting quietly, do you ever observe your thoughts? Have you ever watched the rubbish that goes on in your mind? It goes on, day and night. Even in your dreams your thoughts keep consuming your energy. It is scientifically concluded that the amount of energy expended in one hour digging a pit is same as the amount you expend in 15 minutes of thinking and worrying.
These days people’s physical activities have decreased where as mental activities have increased. The head being an exploiter does not allow energy to flow any where else and keeps consuming all of it in useless and unnecessary thoughts. The heart is not aggressive, it waits.
The mind keeps the heart waiting and leaves no time for love to blossom. Thus Instead of loosing head we get the love lost.

its all about love

July 2nd, 2007

It’s all about love

Love is not grown in gardens; love is not sold in market. He, who wants it, king or a commoner, gives his head and takes it. There is only one way to obtain love. The one, who wants love, gives his head.
The head will have to be sacrificed as a cost for love. Our head which houses, our ego, our pretence and our false show will have to be exchanged for love. Ego. that is contained in the head must disappear.
The Hindi word for love is, Prem, and is made up of two and a half letters. To read these two words in a book is meaning less. Only when a person falls in love with some one do the two and a half letters of Prem become complete. One letter is for the lover, the second is for the beloved and the half is for something unknown that exists between the two.
No matter how hard you try, love never becomes complete. You are never content. It is also an indication that it is everlasting. Remember, whatsoever attains completion, dies. To remain incomplete is love’s nature. So a lover is never satisfied and there fore his joy is endless.

LIFE AFTER FORTY

July 1st, 2007

No matter how successful or powerful one might be every one wants to be happy. This can happen only when you share your life’s relation with some one of same wave length.
The best part of any relationship is the harmony, love and affection that need being maintained and staying best of friends, enjoying and sharing your thoughts and emotions at every level.
By the time you are forty; you sit back and introspect, and wonder where the life is heading. Many a time’s loneliness gets to you. Normally that’s when you realize the importance of relationship in life, but by then, some times it is already late…

Radha’s Krishna.

June 27th, 2007

RADHA’S KRISHNA COULD BE YOUR’S LOVE TOO,,,,,,
The vision of Krishna through the eyes of Radha is the highest form of bhakti. This vision is captured in the poetry of Mira bai, SurDass, and many more like those,,,,,,

MIRA-KRISHNA

June 26th, 2007

All her life MIRA BAI loved Krishna, she worshipped him. She did not bother what the world would say. She just wished to be close to god. She just wished to be close to love. True love brings us closer to god and subsequently we become an image of love and finally an image of god in the true sense. Thus god is love. You too, can, become love.
