It is amazing how so many people confuse the mind with the brain, not realizing that the brain is a physical thing that receives the impulses from the mind and translates them into a physical reality through the senses and the nervous system. The universal impulses come through the solar mind and find finite ex-pression through the brain.” Your worst enemy cannot harm you as much as your own unguarded thoughts. Develop the mind of equilibrium. You will always be getting praise and blame, but do not let either affect the poise of the mind; fallow the calmness and absence of pride.

NAME OF THE GAME IS TO UNLEARN .

On day to day basis we share our experiences and learn a lot by reading as well and thus attain knowledge. Of what use this knowledge is?

Lots of books we might have read lots of seminars, discourses we might have attended and yet we don't find any change with in us. Why?

There was a man who dealt in scrap. He would buy scrap and sell it off in the market. He would also buy old books, all these scrap items he used to transport on his donkey's back.

The animal used to carry books full of wisdom, comprising literature, poetry, Vedanta, yoga, fiction, history , science, spiritual and religious etc.but that didn't made the donkey a scholar, a sage by any means.

What can we call the person who has burdened their minds with lots of such books? The information which we get from books and discourses etc only gets loaded on to our mind.

We only believe in getting and collecting information and believe, “that” only to be the wisdom. Wisdom is not what we know. Wisdom is what we learn and adopt.

Perhaps to be wise we need to unlearn lot many things. Make space in our mind; remove all those useless thoughts from our mind. These are as like books which have got collected on the book selves, lying unused needing to be sold as scrap.

More the mind is empty happier we are bound to be…

Our body is a machine manufactured by god. We are aware and know that this machine undoubtedly is perfect and is capable of performing any function needed to be with in this universe. Such functions are four in numbers i.e. bodily we perform four functions only.

We act the way we want to or the way we feel like to. [Karma]

We use the knowledge which we have attained. [Gyana]

We time our actions and stay aware about the situations. [Samaya]

We try to be internally happy which always our ultimate goal is. [Annanta]

Though we all are aware about above, what we fail to realize is that all of these four functions has been kept locked by the all mighty and has left it on us to break open these locks. For performing these functions and to be out of the pre-set bounds and limits, we need to break open these locks and seals. Outer and first lock, of a visible nature is action lock. [Karma]

The first and foremost need of the body is to act. Action is needed to be performed for all deeds. Action is the outer most part of our bodily functions. Either we like or dislike, protect or destroy, save or kill; love or hate, rightly or wrongly body performs actions for all. For break opening the action lock we have to be total in our actions. Our actions must be completely known to us. We must be aware and act perfect. What so ever you do, do totally? There will arise, a great joy by doing it totally. If you are angry, be totally angry and be fully aware of your anger. Anger will disappear some day. You have understood it, it can be dropped now. Any thing that is understood can be dropped easily. Only non understood things can go on hanging around us. Same is the case when in love. So being always aware in totality about what we do is the first unlocking.

The second lock needing unlocking is of knowledge. It is a little more complicated than the Karma i.e. action lock, you can watch what I am doing; you cannot watch what I know, Knowing is inner. Do you know what you really know? Stop believing things which you really don't know. False knowledge is the enemy of true knowledge. And all beliefs are false knowledge; you just simply believe them. If you are asked "is there a god?" and you say "yes god is there" Do you really know? If you don't know, please don't say I do; say "I don't know". Out of hundred things you will be unburdened of almost 98.Only a few things will remain which you really know. You will feel great freedom. Your head will not be so heavy. And with that freedom and weightlessness you can enter the second limit. If you are honest and you only say what you know, and you only believe what you know, the second lock will be broken.

Knowledge has disappeared; you are only in the now; only the purest of time has remained. You are now in the now moment. Watch meditate over it. In the now moment there is no knowledge. Knowledge is always about the past. Just this moment, what do you know? Nothing is known. Normally we think past present and future as three divisions of time but actually it is the present only which is the time. Past is not, it has already gone. Future is not, it has not come yet. Only the present is. To be in the present is to be really in time. Otherwise you are either in memory or you are in dreams, both of which are delusions. So the third seal is broken by being in the now.

The fourth seal is called Annanta, the innermost, like space. Now purest space has remained. Space is our inner most core, the hub of the wheel, or the center of the cyclone. In our innermost emptiness is space, sky. These are the three layers of time, of knowing, of actions. These are the four seals to be broken…

The word Guru is untranslatable. In fact the phenomenon of the guru is so deeply Indian that no other language of any country is capable of translating it. It is some thing intrinsically eastern. The word guru is made of two words, "Gu" and "ru". "Gu" means darkness "ru" means one who dispels it. Guru literally means the light.

Let no one in the world live in delusion. Without guru none can cross over to the other shore, says, Guru Nanak.

The grace of the guru is like an ocean, if one comes with a cup, he will only get a cupful, it is no use complaining of the niggardliness of the ocean. The bigger the vessel the more one will be able to carry. It is entirely up to him, says Ramana Maharishi.

Every body seeks love. Love gives meaning to our lives. But as soon as we fall in love, we create bondage of relation ship. When love gets reduced to relationship, we find our self in a prison. Lovers are always full of expectations, always demanding some thing or the other. In real life it is impossible to fulfill all expectations. The two lovers end up becoming intimate enemies. They keep oscillating between love and hate.

In such situation they seek freedom from each other. This freedom becomes a demand with an expectation that the other should give freedom. The lovers start quarreling, day and night. They may want to be free and alone, not knowing what they will do when they are free and alone?

They have not learnt the art of being alone and rejoicing in freedom. Learning this art is important; else one keeps creating similar situations in every relationship.

One must learn to meditate to attain this art and then freedom becomes meaningful. In meditation one can be happy alone and then share this happiness with another. Than it is more of giving and sharing and not expecting or demanding. A person who has enriched his being by becoming more conscious can love truly.

Very few people are capable of enjoying this freedom, because they don't know how to dance. They are crippled. They don't know how to sing, how to love. People say to each other, “I love you”, ask them what they mean and they will shrug their shoulders ..their love is just fiction.

You cannot love any body unless you know your self. You cannot love any body unless love starts like a flood and overflows you. First you must have love only then you can share it, do you have love?

It is a byproduct of meditation. Only people who have meditated deeply know what love is, and then there is no question of falling in love. Then comes rising in love. You go higher and higher. Your love becomes your religion, your very existence

When the soul is plunged in the fire of divine love, like iron, it first loses its blackness, and then growing to white heat it becomes like unto the fire itself. And lastly, it grows liquid, and, losing its nature, is transmuted into an utterly different quality of being. And as the difference between iron that is cold and iron that is hot, so is the difference between soul and soul, between the tepid soul and the soul made incandescent by divine love.
