Access Control with Face Recognition
Access Control with Face Recognition

FRS OnTime is a Time & Attendance System with a
Face recognition System, exclusively designed to provide irrefutable
personal verification. It is a standard, Camera and OnTime Software to
enroll and verify employees, store their Face records, keep logs and
interface with computers. FRS OnTime provides enhanced security and
superior speed. The system stores Employee IN & OUT times as Soft
Data. This reduces the manual drudgery of Data Entry, Register
maintenance and monthly requirement of Punch Cards for conventional
Time Clocks to a minimum.

Key Features

  • Work hours, tardiness absence, overtime report by individual by user defined time period
  • Visual view of video input
  • Visual view of face detection
  • History / Enrolled / Suspects view
  • Voice alerts during system operation
  • Data export facility for other system cooperation with ERP, payroll etc.
  • Easy-to-use graphic interface
  • Fast and accurate Face verification
  • Time & Attendance data modification by manager

Employee Verification

Time & Attendance procedure at a large distributed enterprise is no
simple matter. There are geographical separation of sites, multiple
states and union territories, complex pay roll calculations, and
various regional pay practices. Apart from that, reliance on employees
and supervisors to report time and attendance has resulted in many
abuses such as buddy punching, clock padding and general inaccuracy of
time capture. Manual time capture systems are error prone and
consolidation of data from various sources is difficult and time
consuming. Existing ERP systems are too costly and cumbersome to extend
and most purpose-built solutions are not designed with large,
distributed enterprises in mind.

FRS OnTime is a Time & Attendance System with Face recognition
Technology that is specially designed to provide irrefutable personal
verification

Access Control Systems

Attacks on civil and institutional objects are potential threats in several parts of the world today. The target might be a bank or a company, and the attack might be motivated by money or ideological reasons, but the essential pattern is the same. To put an end to the increase in these types of attacks, it is high time that we have applied advanced scientific and technological solutions to real-life applications.

ACCESS uses a cutting-edge technology that facilitates secure and safe biometric access in electronically controlled doors.

Key Features

    * Convenient and secure method of controlling door entry
    * Authentication by Facial Biometrics to gain entry
    * Higher security than conventional systems
    * No keys or cards to carry
    * No need to issue keys or cards for every user
    * Accurate recording of arrivals and departures
    * Real time monitoring of door access
    * Intelligent access control by group or time schedule

Face Recognition Security by Inttelix http://blogs.rediff.com/inttelix/2009/12/14/face-recognition-security-by-inttelix/ http://blogs.rediff.com/inttelix/2009/12/14/face-recognition-security-by-inttelix/#comments Mon, 14 Dec 2009 12:03:26 +0000 Inttelix http://blogs.rediff.com/inttelix/?p=5 www.inttelix.com

Face recognition technology is the least intrusive and fastest
biometric technology. It works with the most obvious individual
identifier '" the human face.

Instead of requiring people to place their hand on a reader or
precisely position their eyes in front of a scanner, Face Recognition
systems silently take pictures of people's faces as they enter a
defined area. There is no intrusion or delay, and in most cases the
subjects are entirely unaware of the process. They do not feel 'under
surveillance' or that their privacy has been invaded.

FRS Technology

Facial Recognition analyzes the characteristics of a person's face
images input through a digital video camera. It measures the overall
facial structure, including distances between eyes, nose & mouth
and jaw edges. These measurements are retained in a database and used
for comparisons when a user stands before the camera. This biometric
has been widely and perhaps wildly, touted as a fantastic system for
recognizing potential threats. (Whether terrorist, scam artist or known
criminal)but so far has been unproven in high-level usage. It is
currently used only in verification systems with a good deal of success.

Every face has numerous, distinguishable landmarks and the different
peaks and valleys- that make up one's facial characteristics unique.
Each human face has approximately 80 nodal points. Some of these
features measured by the Facial Recognition Technology include distance between the eyes, width of the nose, depth of the eye sockets, shape of the cheekbones and length of the jaw line etc.
