A MESSAGE TO GOD

GOOD ONE! MUST READ…There was a man who worked for the Post Office whose job was to process all the mail that had illegible addresses.

One day, a letter came addressed in a shaky handwriting to God with no actual address. He thought he should open it to see what it was about. The letter read:

Dear God,

I am an 83 year old widow, living on a very small pension.

Yesterday someone stole my purse. It had $100 in it, which was all the money I had until my next pension payment. Next Sunday is Christmas, and I had invited two of my friends over for dinner. Without that money, I have nothing to buy food with, have no family to turn to, and you are my only hope. Can you please help me?

Sincerely, Edna

The postal worker was touched. He showed the letter to all the other workers. Each one dug into his or her wallet and came up with a few dollars.

By the time he made the rounds, he had collected $96, which they put into an envelope and sent to the woman. The rest of the day, all the workers felt a warm glow thinking of Edna and the dinner she would be able to share with her friends.

Christmas came and went. A few days later, another letter came from the same old lady to God. All the workers gathered around while the letter was opened.

It read:

Dear God,

How can I ever thank you enough for what you did for me? Because of your gift of love, I was able to fix a glorious dinner for my friends. We had a very nice day and I told my friends of your wonderful gift.

By the way, there was $4 missing. I think it might have been those bastards at the post office.

Check how a girl signed her reportcard from father

Just read it carefully. This is a real senario.

A father passing by his teenage daughter’s bedroom was astonished to see the bed was nicely made and everything was neat and tidy. Then he saw an envelope propped up prominently on the centre of the pillow. It was addressed “Dad”. With the worst premonition, he opened the envelope and read the letter with trembling hands:-

Dear Dad,

It is with great regret and sorrow that I’m writing you, but I’m leaving home. I had to elope with my new boyfriend Randy because I

wanted to avoid a scene with Mom and you. I’ve been finding real passion with Randy and he is so nice to me. I know when you meet him you’ll like him too - even with all his piercing, tattoos, and motorcycle clothes. But it’s not only the passion Dad, I’m pregnant and Randy said that he wants me to have the kid and that we can be very happy together. Even though Randy is much older than me (anyway, 42 isn’t so old these days is it?), and has no money, really these things shouldn’t stand in the way of our relationship, don’t you agree?

Randy has a great CD collection; he already owns a trailer in the woods and has a stack of firewood for the whole winter. It’s true he has other girlfriends as well but I know he’ll be faithful to me in his own way. He wants to have many more children with me and that’s now one of my dreams too.

Randy taught me that marijuana doesn’t really hurt anyone and he’ll be growing it for us and we’ll trade it with our friends for all the cocaine and ecstasy we want. In the meantime, we’ll pray that science will find a cure for AIDS so Randy can get better; he sure deserves it!!

Don’t worry Dad, I’m 15 years old now and I know how to take care of myself. Someday I’m sure we’ll be back to visit so you can get to know your grandchildren.

Your loving daughter,

Rosie.

At the bottom of the page were the letters “PTO”. Hands still trembling, her father turned the sheet, and read:

PS: Dad, none of the above is true. I’m over at the neighbor's house.

I just wanted to remind you that there are worse things in life than my

report card that’s in my desk centre drawer. Please sign it and call

when it is safe for me to come home. I love you!

Have a Nice day!

Perception, taste & priorities of people - Worth giving it a thought .

Worth giving it a thought .

Perception, taste and priorities of people is today’s quest.

A man stood at a metro station in Washington DC and started to play the violin; it was a cold January morning. He played six Bach pieces for about 45 minutes. During that time, since it was rush hour, it was calculated that thousand seven hundred people went through the station, most of them on their way to work.

Three minutes went by and a middle aged man noticed there was musician playing. He slowed his pace and stopped for a few seconds and then hurried up to meet his schedule. A minute later, the violinist received his first dollar tip: a woman threw the money in the till and without stopping continued to walk. A few minutes later, someone leaned against the wall to listen to him, but the man looked at his watch and started to walk again. Clearly he was late for work.

The one who paid the most attention was a 3 year old boy. His mother tagged him along, hurried but the kid stopped to look at the violinist. Finally the mother pushed hard and the child continued to walk turning his head all the time. This action was repeated by several other children. All the parents, without exception, forced them to move on.

In the 45 minutes the musician played, only 6 people stopped and stayed for a while. About 20 gave him money but continued to walk their normal pace.. He collected $32. When he finished playing and silence took over, no one noticed it. No one applauded, nor was there recognition.

No one knew this but the violinist was Joshua Bell, one of the best musicians in the world. He played one of the most intricate pieces ever written with a violin worth 3.5 million dollars. Two days before his playing in the subway, Joshua Bell sold out at a theatre in Boston and the seats average $100.

This is a real story. Joshua Bell playing incognito in the metro station was organised by the Washington Post as part of a social experiment about perception, taste and priorities of people.

The outlines were:

§ In a common place environment, at an inappropriate hour, do we perceive beauty? Yes/no

§ Do we stop to appreciate it? Yes/no

§ Do we recognise the talent in an unexpected context? Yes/no

One of the possible conclusions from above experience could be:

If we do not have a moment to stop and listen to one of the best musicians in the world playing the best music ever written, how many other things are we missing in our life? Worth sitting up and taking note of it!

Friendship

REAL FRIEND TEST!

A simple friend, when visiting, acts like a guest.

A real friend opens your refrigerator and helps himself and doesn’t feel even the least bit weird shutting your

‘beer/Pepsi drawer’ with her foot!

A simple friend has never seen you cry.

A real friend shoulder is soggy from your tears..

A simple friend doesn’t know your parents’ first names.

A real friend has their phone numbers in his address book..

A simple friend brings a bottle of wine to your party.

A real friend comes early to help you cook and stays late to help you clean.

A simple friend hates it when you call after they’ve gone to bed.

A real friend asks you why you took so long to call.

A simple friend seeks to talk with you about your problems.

A real friend seeks to help you with your problems.

A simple friend wonders about your romantic history.

A real friend could blackmail you with it!

A simple friend thinks the friendship is over when

you have an argument.

A real friend calls you after you had a fight.

A simple friend expects you to always be there for them.

A real friend expects to always be there for you!

A simple friend reads this e-mail and deletes it.

A real friend passes it on and sends it back to you!

Pass this on to anyone you care about……if you

get it back you have no beginning, no end.

It keeps us together, like our Circle of Friends.

Today I pass this on to you. Pass it on to someone who is a friend to you..

‘Never frown, even when you are sad, because you never know who is falling in love with your smile. ‘

–The task ahead of you, is never as great as the power behind you.

–~–~—— —~–~– –~—— ——~– —–~–~ —-~

Dear Friends,

Give thousand chances to your enemy to become your friend, But don’t give a single chance to ur friend to become ur enemy’

Send this to all Ur good friends .Even me, if I am one of them. See how many u get back. If u gets more than 3 u r really, a lovable person…… ……… I am waiting

Show your friends how much you care.

Send this to everyone you consider a FRIEND!

Even if it means sending it back to the person who sent it to you.

If it comes back to you, then you will know you have a circle of friends.

YOU ARE MY FRIEND AND I AM HONORED.

READ ALONE

Read Alone…….

Especially the Poem

I believe whatever God has in store for

us will be for us.

The poem is very true, unfortunately.

Make sure you read the poem!

CASE 1: Kelly Sedey had one wish,

for her boyfriend of three years,

David Marsden, to propose to her.

Then one day when she was out

to lunch David proposed!

She accepted, but then had to leave

because she had a meeting in 2! 0 min.

When she got to her office,

she noticed on her computer she had some e-mail’s….

She checked it, the usual stuff

from her friends, but then she saw one

that she had never gotten before.

It was this poem. She simply deleted it

without even reading all of it.

BIG MISTAKE! Later that evening,

she received a phone call from the police

It was about DAVID! He had been in an accident

with an 18 wheeler. He didn’t survive!

CASE 2: Take Katie Robinson She received this poem

and being the believer that she was

she sent it to a few of her friends but

!

didn’t have enough e-mail addresses to sen d out

the full 10 that you must.

Three days later, Katie went to a masquerade ball.

Later that night when she left to get to her car,

she was killed in that spot by a

hit-and-run drunk driver…

CASE 3: Richard S. Willis sent this poem out

within 45 minutes of reading it.

Not even 4 hours later walking along the street

to his new job interview with a really big company,

when he ran into Cynthia Bell,

his secret love for 5 years. Cynthia came up to him

and told him of her passionate crush on him

that she had had for 2 years.

Three days later, he proposed to her and they got married.
Cynthia and Richard are still married

with three children, happy as ever!

This is the poem:

Around the corner I have a friend,

In this great city that has no end,

Yet the days go by and weeks rush on,

And before I know it, a year is gone.

And I never see my old friends face,

For life is a swift and terrible race,

He knows I like him just as well,

As in the days when I rang his bell.

And he rang mine but we were younger then,

And now we are busy, tired ;men.

Tired of playing a foolish game,

Tired of trying to make a name.

“Tomorrow” I say! “I will call on Jim

Just to show that I’m thinking of him.”

But tomorrow comes and tomorrow goes,

And distance between us grows and grows.

Around the corner, yet miles away,

“Here’s a telegram sir,” “Jim died today.”

And that’s what we get and deserve in the end.

Around the corner, a vanished friend.

Remember to always say what you mean.

If you love someone, tell them.

!

Don’t be afraid to express yourself.

Reach out and tell someone what they mean to you.

Because when you decide that it is the right time it might

be too late.

Seize the day. Never have regrets.

And most importantly, stay close to your friends

and family, for they have helped

make you the person that you are today.

You must send this on in 3 hours after reading the letter

to 10 other people.

If you do this, you will receive unbelievably good luck in love.

The person that you are most attracted to will soon return to you .

If you do not, bad luck will rear its ugly head at you .

THIS IS NOT A JOKE!

You have read the warnings, seen the cases,

and the consequences.

You MUST send this on or face dreadfully bad luck….

Main ek dafa teri goad main sar rakh so sako maa woh sakoon-e-neend pana chahta hoon maa Bohat dard ho raha hai maa apne hathon se mere zakham-e-dard ko mita do maa

Yeh “Tariq” Bohat badkar hai es ki har galati maaf kar do maa.

What is Recession?

What is Recession?

This story is about a man who once upon a time was selling Hotdogs by the roadside. He was illiterate, so he never read newspapers. He was hard of hearing, so he never listened to the radio. His eyes were weak, so he never watched television. But enthusiastically, he sold lots of hotdogs.

He was smart enough to offer some attractive schemes to increase his sales. His sales and profit went up. He ordered more a more raw material and buns and sold more. He recruited more supporting staff to serve more customers. He started offering home deliveries. Eventually he got himself a bigger and better stove. As his business was growing, the son, who had recently graduated from college, joined his father.

Then something strange happened.

The son asked, “Dad, aren’t you aware of the great recession that is coming our way?” The father replied, “No, but tell me about it.” The son said, “The international situation is terrible. The domestic situation is even worse. We should be prepared for the coming bad times.”

The man thought that since his son had been to college, read the papers, listened to the radio and watched TV. He ought to know and his advice should not be taken lightly. So the next day onwards, the father cut down the his raw material order and buns, took down the colorful signboard, removed all the special schemes he was offering to the customers and was no longer as enthusiastic. He reduced his staff strength by giving layoffs. Very soon, fewer and fewer people bothered to stop at his Hotdog stand. And his sales started coming down rapidly and so did the profit. The father said to his son, “Son, you were right”. “We are in the middle of a recession and crisis. I am glad you warned me ahead of time.”

Moral of the Story: It’s all in your MIND! And we actually FUEL this recession much more than we think.
