THE TRU STORY

Chaitanya is my collage friend, bright, simple, enthusiastic in
participating all extra curricular activities & always ready to
adopt good ideas. He is now working as a financial consultant with a multi-national company.

This chap is happy with Vibha, his wife, who is beauty with brains. Vibha is also now our friend. She is a graduate in Mechanical engineering.

Chaitanya is son of a bank officer & Vibha is a single child of a retired army officer.

The way these two families live is a typical Chaitanya Formula.
The
two families (Chaitanya’s & Vibha’s) are financially well settled
& had purchased a specious 4 bedrooms flat together when
Chaitanya’s elder daughter was born.
One bedroom is for Chaitanya’s parents; one is for Vibha’s parents & one for this couple & their daughters.
The forth one is for guests.

Vibha is busy 9 to 9. Before leaving home, she prepares breakfast for
all. Chaitanya helps their daughters to get ready for the school &
once they are off to school, he helps his better half if necessary.
Morning time is the exercise time for all the four grandparents. When they come back, all have a nice breakfast together.

Once Chitanya & Vibha are out for their offices, its turn for Dada - dadi & Nana-nani to take charge of the whole house.

Preparing Lunch, taking care of their grand daughters, their studies,
their extra curricular activities, their evening snacks & last but
not the least, the dinner, everything is taken care by these 4 senior
citizens with the help of a maid.

Many a times it happens that either Chaitanya or Vibha are out of
station or any one of the family members gets ill. But at such times,
all other members stretch themselves a little & they overcome the
problem like nothing had happened.

Last year it happened that Nana had to undergo Bypass surgery.
Chaitanya & Vibha took leaves for 3 to 4 days as per requirement.

Dada took care of Nana in the hospital just like his younger brother.
There were all together to fight against this big problem. After total
recovery of Nana,  all they four had a Himachal Pradesh tour in last
Diwali.
During these days, Chaitanya & Vibha managed themselves
& even experienced the importance of the thing that their house
& kids were in the capable hands of their parents.

Whenever we friends gather at Chaitanya’s house, we get very surprised
to see this unbelievable family. At the same time we could feel the
comfort each member right from the youngest Mugdha till the oldest Dada
is getting in this house.

I think all of them had kept their of ego  (They still have some left with them) aside.
All
four grand parents are doing this for the happiness of their children
& grand children, for that they are enjoying company of two sweet
grand daughters & friends of their own age. They also feel secure
among all these people.

Yes, I forgot to tell u, Saturdays & Sundays are off for these four
from all responsibilities. Chaitanya & Vibha are also happy that
they don’t need to worry about their parents in their old ages &
they are happy even about their daughters. Children are safe &
happy with their grand parents than the baby sitter.

I am sure, the routine must not be going so smooth as it appears. There
must be some problem or bad feelings peeping in the minds of members,
but however they are managing to overcome this.

I am really proud of my friend & Vibha who had arranged marriage,
the parents were also unknown to each other, but looking at the demand
of the time, they had kept aside the traditional thoughts aside.

They are real wise people who know that traditions were set by man for
the betterment of mankind & society. Traditions are for us & we
are not for the traditions.

A nice example of harmony in human relations……. the punch line says it all ……..” They are real wise people who know that traditions were set by man for the betterment of mankind & society. Traditions are for us & we are not for the traditions”……… an eye opener for those who quarrel each other for no reason…… Thanks for sharing Sis
