Rediff

I have been blogging since the last year and a half on blogspot but I have made more friends in the last two days on rediff than what I got to on blogspot. The concept of mingling a social networking website with a blogging tool has been there for a long time but the rediff interface provides a different feel. The only problem I had was the time taken to load these pages as it seems that the rediff server is flooded 24 7.

My personal complaints with Rediff …1) Appears there is a lot of restriction though - doesnt play adsense code for example and 2) there should be some format where there are things that can stay on the first page itself while other stuff moves down in chronological order

The amount of server traffic would play a part as, each page is built or compiled based on the kind of request the server gets and this is done each time a request is recieved. I am not sure about this but, it sure seems to be that way; atleast to me. So, even though there are not many people online it might take a little while for the page to be loaded. Hope you have a lot of fun bloggin here on the iland :)
