My comments on the news on “security tips for the northeast india students/visitors to Delhi by Mr. IPS Robin Hibu, Deputy Commissioner (West Delhi), who hails from the North East.

Mr. IPS from Arunachal Pradesh might have gone out of his head. How can he insist to divide the northeast people from mainland India when many politicians are trying to bring the whole northeast people under the mainstream of india, if he continues to insist on his writing, thinking that “Pen is mighter than sword”, his family members may learn a new lesson that “Sword/Gun is mighter than Pen”.

Your blog indicates a definite abhorrence towards west and the US in particular. Every nation pursue its own interest. Being a capitalist one, the business lobby has an upper hand in the US policies. Islamic terrorism of course is a fall out of US policies- be it of Israel, Iran, Afghan and now Iraq. But then today they are reaping what they have sown. But Musharaf is a foxy dictator who was instrumental in Kargil war. Lets not portray him as a friend. Also it is quite old fashioned to blame everything on CIA.

Hi Joy -just an observation - You are very subjective when it comes to posting others comments on your GB or on your blogs. This goes against your “principles” does it not. You criticize countries like the US and UK about stifling free speech. Isn’t that what you are doing too? It kind of gets amusing to read your blogs since most of those accusations do not hold merit and you pretty much base everything on heresay. I live in the US and in your eyes Indians like myself who live wherever the would like to are traitors - Tell me this Joy - is there anything in the Consitution that says that Indians who chose to lilve where they like should be termed Traitors. My only request is when you write blogs about other countries please base it on facts and not heresay since a lot of what you have written would be termed pure BS. :)))))))))))))) I do not mean to be rude - I am just stating what I have seen of your postings. :)))))))))))))

Joy, u have created a world of ur own. Film industry is a highly competitive field and the rivalry is cut-throat. The producers and all others are out to make money and nobody is bothered about talent unless it sells. Govt. wants its taxes and the audience wants value for money.

because today a 12th class student after doing a computer course can earn what a soldier earns working almost round the clock in Saichen.Kashmir,North east—- risking life ,limb ,health.
yrt when the motherland calls in emergencies,natures calamities,—the soldier is there quietly doing his job.
why does not this SO CALLED GOOD AND BEAUTIFUL GOVERNMENT SEE THIS.
do you know how KARGIL WAS WON??? WITH SGEER GRIT AND WILL POWER OF OUR SOLDIERS—WHAT DID THE GOVT DO???.NEVER PROVIDE BASIC LIFE PROTECTING EQUIPMENT—-THERE WERE VERY FEW OR NIL NIGHT VISION GLASSES,SNOW BOOTS ,ELECTRONIC SENSING EQUIPMENT!!
THE TERRORISTS HAD THE LATEST EQUIPMENT—-how does this feel??
our lovely govt.even made a scam of the coffins!!!! soldiers towards the peak of war were even deprived of sufficent coffins.

thanks for yr visit.
politics and me are like chalk and cheese—having said that i agree wholeheartedly that the education in rural india is not being given the support it needs in terms of finance and upgradation.there are good teachers there but they too are given no encouragement as regards to teaching aids and infrastructure.many schools do not have the basic emenities of a toilet—this prevents girls from attending school on certain days.
other days too it is a nightmare to imagine how a female can attend nature’s call.
pleas concentrate on issues like this instead of bothering what are ministers are doing OR MORE IMPORTANTLY NOT DOING.
i do not agree with your post about the parties and ministers being dyed in milk.if this was the case why would your other posts take birth??
the less we talk about them is best.

This has ref. to ur blog on terrorism. USA has become paranoid n suspects all Muslims of terrorism. But don’t forget they have strong friendly links with many Muslim countries. U can’t dictate American public opinion sitting prettily in India. Also don’t forget how terrorism has taken a toll of thousands of lives of innocent civilians n Para-military n military forces(coming from all parts of India) in our country, mostly in Kashmir at the behest of Pakistan. Iran has disregarded all resolutions of the UNO including the ones supported by China n Russia. The President of Iran has openly declared that he wants to wipe out Israel from the map of the world.
