hi, thanx for the visit. the patient is from a very well to do family and had taken all the precautions. the disease comes suddenly without any prewarning and the disease progression is so fast that u see her in this condition. she was admitted at another hospital and at another city before coming here.

  12. Shweta Singh says

Because i removed it, will repost soon.
About dreamspace: its sheshnaag lake . Second stop on the way to holy amarnath cave. Its called sheshnaag lake because its shape is like that of a hood of a snake.

  13. vivek says

hi, thanx for ur visit and query, while commenting on some of my experiences i have to take care that it doesnot serve as an idea to the reader or doesnot harm them through any of the pics that is why i did not dwelve into the modes of sucides and the pics of the lady . but i will try to post a pic of the disease if u want to see but it may be too repulsive .

  14. Sarath Chandra says

In my messages on your Gb, I did say I would advice against suicide (that will include trying to inspire, convince etc). All I am saying I cannot “force” him to follow my decision on something that he owns. It is ultimately his decision. I have no rights on his life. I would try to stop him in my role as an advisor, inspirer etc.

  15. gman says

  16. Lissome Lady says

JACOG dont make me feel older than I am already. Just holler lissa or LL like everyone else does. :)))

  17. Sarath Chandra says

You have got to start somewhere wherever you want to go, whatever you want to become. Looking at Steffi Graf or Sridevi might be intimidating right now. But if we take one step at a time there is no telling where we will end up. You can set a clear goal, and identify the path, and identify the stops on the path. The first step will be to reach the first stop. “Concentrate on the process; the result will take care of itself”. Most of us remain ordinary because we are intimidated by greatness; not because we are incapable of it. You won’t need 200 years for your goals. But if we don’t have long term goals for our lives, we won’t have the physical fitness in our later stages and we also won’t know what to do with life as life expectancies keep raising. Boredom is the biggest problem; it will dwarf any other problem we have ever experienced in our lives.

  18. ice candy says

arre D, please dont misunderstand me, it never felt to me that i am targeted, even if i am targeted, thats not a problem…it was for encouraging me only right :)….so the word hurt is out of the window, and yes I have a plan and even the penalty is there, so no worries :)

  19. Divyani says

IT is there naa….you have to log in to be able to view it.

  20. gman says

Thanks for you GB entry. Glad was able to help wishing you all the best …Gman

  21. Sarath Chandra says

Well, we’ll not debate, as you wish. But my stand is, as long as one is honest with all the partners (before the sex act), the society has no right to punish the individual. We’ll drop this here.

And yes, I wanted to ask you about the break. But it seemed that you were occupied even before that. So I thought you just stayed away to recharge.

  22. Monishikha RoyChoudhury says

  24. SREENI R says

I have added an new interview .Please read and comment on it. For more details read my blog http://sreenireports.rediffiland.com/
Interview with Dr. Hiran,Assistant Professor, Department of Pathology, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, Cochin.
Pathology is basically a sciences and
clinical practice concerned particularly with structural and functional
changes in tissues and organs of the body caused by disease. In fact,
the strength of the pathologists is to keep their much deserved
prominence in modern medicine resides in their unique intellectual
ability to sum up and integrate an enormous amount of anatomical,
histological, cytological, and molecular data -obviously obtained by
various methods-and to correlate this with clinical data for
establishing an accurate diagnosis and prognosis.

  25. Sarath Chandra says

I had some comments on your guru guidance comments. Check them out at your convenience.

JACOG, I am very happy when I read your comment today. Maybe you will know why when you read the “Hymn of Creation” from Rig Veda in the following link (http://www.princeton.edu/~howarth/573/rig-veda.html). Precisely the point I am making, if we have the guts to think without fear or limits, there is so much we can know and discover. I got so many ideas reading this verse. But you virtually came up with that verse. We don’t have to be modest about it. I think all of us are capable of understanding the universe, only too many vested interests in the world make us believe it is too tough to protect the cloak of their own intellectual superiority. As I said earlier, we must assume we are capable of understanding everything to get to the limits of understanding. Thanks for the comment. It feels great. :-)

  29. ice candy says

taking the electricity thing, there’s production, distribution and then collecting money for the units used…right now there is lesser production, huge losses in distribution (poor tech and illegal connections) and lesser collections (govt, politicians, businessmen, illegal connections)…at each step something can be done to improve the overall situation…

  30. Sarath Chandra says

Take your time, JACOG. Take a lot of time. I would like it if you don’t leave a comment just as a duty. We have these emotional constraints :-) that we leave a comment as a habit many times even when we have not much to say. Besides, I think, that post requires a bit of reflection. So please take a lot of time. I will wait :-)

  31. ice candy says

the jobs demanding high intellect are missing in India, the daily fight is too much for everyone, anyone who wants to escape - escapes, think of a scientist, he spends a heavy day in his lab and when he comes back, poof no electricity…electricity is not a luxury, its a necessity, will he able to relax completely at his home? will he get the same satisfaction drinking warm water as compared to cold water from his refrigerator, the daily fight becomes too much, he packs his bags and leaves India, he might be doing the same work someplace else but at least his daily useless fight will be lesser now…now replace the scientist with a simple worker, will he want to escape the daily fight? yes…

  32. ice candy says

even I am happy about BPOs coming to India and providing jobs to people, but aren’t we the ones who promoted pathetic working conditions, because a +2 student could also get a job at bpo, his low education level is shown in the bad treatment of bpos, the conditions are bad, they are the sweat shops, managers use expletives at the drop of a hat to males or females, we give them jobs, we give them money but what about the pride? are we proud indians, nope, when the pride is missing in your country, your job, there is no scope for any positive work being done…

  33. ice candy says

I think we can find a suitable actress for playing the part, though I wont prefer this movie to be made in India, it will be a mess…

  34. slipperyways says

  35. my ideabox says

Dear….thanx for the realisation (after 99th floor…what next….98th floor would come).

But I fail to mention in my blog that glass is FLOAT GLASS. So sardarji is right in saying….pack kar do

  36. Sarath Chandra says

Nothing big, JACOG. I am just busy with some end of semester grading. I am having certain ideas to work on and will post something over the weekend. Engaging people is an art, Lissome Lady has some extraordinary skills there. Maybe for me, I am incapable of it and maybe even engaging is undesirable.

JACOG, with respect to the 3rd paragraph on my universe post, we had some discussion. Please visit my comments section now to see what exactly was I saying when I wrote that paragraph. Even writing that paragraph did not prevent these (what I think are) out of place comments to make their appearance there :-)

  47. Subodh Deshpande says

yes, i agree with ice candy comment, ‘vijay did used his conviction and not clairvoyance’..very nice comment by ice candy…keep it up:))
