Posted in Uncategorized on 02/17/2010 08:27 pm by aravind dasLast week it was torrid time for mumbaikars & cinegoeres as BALA THACKERAY issued fatwa for the movie “MY NAME IS KHAN”.Really it was difficult understand as to why these politicians are are indulging in this kind of fruitless ,worthless & idiotic works !No constructive works or thought.Moreover they are having a brigade of loyal rowdy party workers who will do anything what the leaders says.Vandalism.hogolism is becoming the order of the day.
Thanks God, people defeated the fatwa & threat of shiv Sena & went to see the movie.The persons who got the benefits from these act are
1)Producers of “My Name is Khan”(20TH CENTURY FOX & KARAN JOHAR)
2)Sahrukh Khan
If the Producers would have spent another 100 crores of rupees on the promotion of this movie marketing, then also they would not achieved 50% of the result what they got absolutely free.It even put some doubt as to why neither Karan Johar nor Sahrukh talked with Bal thackray prior to the release of this movie(may be 20TH CENTURY FOX knew in this way the film will get maximum milage).The controversy surrounding the statement of SRK regarding the Pak player”s chance in IPL was really a non-issue.But the result was different.
I wonder why this kind of controversy are ozzing out of the Pandora boxes just before the release of any BIG BUDGET MOVIE ?????
Good marketing strategy of course…Who knows how much would have been given to the political parties!!!!!
